We are building a HR Tech platform powered by AI which will help employers get the exact possible fit for any job role for which they are hiring in a minute, and help job seekers gain visibility and opportunities to be hired by potential employers.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

We discovered that employers find it so hard to get the right fit for job openings in their organization. Meanwhile qualified candidates for these roles exists, perhaps close to them than they imagine. But there has really been no system or infrastructure in Africa that will help employers get employees that match the profile for a job position, so they waste so much time,money, and energy to find people. No more! We have decided to build a platform where job seekers in the country will have profiles like a CV, and on the UI employers can search for pricisely people with any specific qualities to hire. Through the artificial intelligence powering the platform, they can get people who fit exactly the profile they asked for and arrange for interview or hire. This makes recruitment so effective because you can literally get the best hands for a job as you imagined. Plus you get results in minutes rather than weeks or months of looking for who to hire. It is "tinder for hiring".

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

We are solving majorly 2 problems: Firstly, employers spend so much time and resources to find the right people to hire. With today's technology recruitment should not be that hard. With our product they can easily and so fast get the quality of employers they desire. Thus, no more hiring unfit people, and wasting so much time and resources to find the right ones whn you can get it at your finger tips with our product. Secondly, we make job seekers visible. So many people seeking employment are not unemployed because there are no jobs or they are not qualified. It is usually because people who need their services do not know that they exist or how to find them. This is why someone who intends to work for an organization moves about looking for them. What an irony. We are solving this because they can now be found by just a few clicks on our platform.

1. Easy way of finding the right talent to work for you as an employer. You do not need to sweat and spend lavishly to find people to work with you. Finding and hiring good talent has been a major issue for employers in Nigeria as there has been no true infrastructure to help them get the best. They will benefit from what we are building immensely. 2. Visibilty to job seekers. The fact that you are qualified and well positioned on our platform as a job seeker on our platform means that people you wish to work for will find you. We will eliminate walking about looking for jobs from office to office which is typical at the moment. 3. Leveraging technology to make all our processes fast, simple, and reliable. You get speed when using our platform as you can find talents you need so fast, and job seekers can be easily found.

Our target audiences are employers and job seekers. The platform will help employers get the best talent out there fast, easy and cheap. While job seekers will become visible and attract employers to themselves.

05.08 Justification

Our product is an innovative product for job hiring in Nigeria. We are making all the processes involved in hiring talents simple, cheap, and fast with the use of technology. Technology has not really penetrated the HR secto in Nigeria, it should even as other sectors are.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Our main competitors are Linkedin and Jobberman.Jobberman is the most popular used hiring platform in Nigeria. Our advantage is that they are so slow in adopting technology in this sector, making it still difficult and slow for employers to use them. We are leveraging technology as best as we can which will make ours more efficient and effective. Linkedin is also a major competitor as they allow for hiring on the platform. However we are a more focused product than them. We are niched and free so we will come to mind first in this regards.

10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

Yes I am initiating actions in my community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs. One good example of how I do this is that I belong to a group of founders that encourage female entrepreneurs to join us. Infact the female co-founder in my team is part of us because I did a good job in convincing her.
