Environmental Impact This calculation is by the amount of fuel that can be burnt per combustion Engine in internal combustion Engine for eight horse power engine the amount of fuel burnt per compression unit is amount to the quantity of fuel consume, so in one hour this Engine release the amount of carbon with respect to the fuel in an hour of which this Engine operations at a constant speed. of cause for an hour, it consumes fuel of 5 litters/hour generates the same power. One hour power is equivalent to 746watts, for the 8 hours power is equivalent to 8* 764 is From Stoichiometric combustion Analysis A fuel oil containing 84% carbon, and 12% hydrogen by weight is burnt by means by high pressure air burner the product of combustion contains 10% CO2 by volume in gaseous product. For Stoichiometric combustion of 1kg of fuel. Reactant C = 0.84(mass), H = 0.12(mass) Stoichiometric Oxygen = 3.27kg/kg. Now the actual combustion in 1Kg of fuel =0.84*0.12*3.27= 0.329616 carbon emission
