Eppcheck is a real-time data collection platform that connects users in need of information or data with individuals who can perform checks and inspections to collect data and information for businesses and individuals.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Eppcheck is building a platform that allows individuals to earn by conducting checks for those in need of real-time data. It provides a seamless and efficient solution for gathering essential data and insights. Users would be able to request for checks via our app. Tell us when, where, and what information is needed. Our algorithm matches them with individuals (eppers) within the requested location. An Epper accepts the request, completes tasks, submit reports and earn income.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem Eppcheck is trying to solve is the difficulty and inefficiency of obtaining real-time, reliable, and accurate data. This includes challenges such as geographical distance, time constraints, and the inability to personally verify information, which can be particularly problematic in industries like real estate, insurance, and vehicle inspections. Eppcheck aims to bridge this gap by providing a seamless platform where users can request specific checks or inspections, which are then carried out by local individuals, known as "eppers," who provide real-time updates and data.

Real-Time Data Collection and Updates: Eppcheck enables users to receive immediate, accurate, and reliable data from inspections and checks, ensuring that they have the most current information available for decision-making. Convenience and Efficiency: By connecting users with local "eppers" who can perform inspections and checks on their behalf, Eppcheck saves users time and effort, especially for tasks that would otherwise require significant travel or coordination. Customizable Requests: Eppcheck allows users to define specific parameters and requirements for their checks, ensuring that the inspections are tailored to their unique needs and providing a more personalized service.

Real Estate Professionals: Agents, property managers, and investors who need timely and accurate inspections of properties for valuations, listings, or investment decisions. Individuals Living Abroad: People in the diaspora who need to conduct inspections or checks on properties or assets back home without the need to travel. Insurance Companies: Firms requiring quick and precise inspections for claim assessments, damage reports, and verification processes. Businesses and Enterprises: Companies needing regular checks and inspections for compliance, quality control, or operational purposes. General Consumers: Individuals who require various types of personal checks, such as vehicle inspections, address verifications, or custom tasks that need reliable and timely data.

As a mentor at HNG Internship, Folake is committed to creating seamless and engaging user experiences for web and mobile applications. John Orisanwo is a Front End Developer with more than three years of experience. He is known for his detail-oriented approach and his ability to create immersive and stress-free user experiences. John is quick at web development and relentless in debugging. His skills and dedication were recognized as an HNG i9 finalist, highlighting his proficiency in the field.

As part of my startup, I have 2 females on my team, I am dedicated to empowering and supporting women in entrepreneurship. Here are some specific ways we are contributing: I hire and mentor talented female professionals by providing opportunities for growth, leadership development, and skill-building tailored to their career aspirations. Forge partnerships with women-led businesses, networks, and organizations to create synergies, share resources, and amplify collective impact in promoting female entrepreneurship.
