Youth Tech Skill Up Program, an initiative by Koppe Sylvanus Joseph, founder of A+ Computer Training Technology Ltd, aims to bridge the skills gap among unemployed Nigerian youth by providing digital skills training, leading to direct and remote job placements in the digital economy.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem we are trying to solve is the significant skills gap among Nigerian youth, which contributes to high unemployment rates despite the growing opportunities in the digital economy. Many young Nigerians lack the necessary digital skills to secure jobs in technology-driven fields, both locally and remotely. This skills deficiency limits their employment prospects and hinders Nigeria's overall economic development. The Youth Tech Skill Up Program aims to address this issue by providing comprehensive digital skills training, thereby enhancing employability, fostering entrepreneurship, and bridging the gap between the workforce and the evolving demands of the digital economy.

Our project is aimed at serving unemployed Nigerian youth aged 18 to 35 who lack the necessary digital skills to secure employment in the technology-driven job market. The targeted beneficiaries include recent graduates struggling to find jobs, underemployed individuals seeking better opportunities, and young entrepreneurs aspiring to launch tech-based startups. By focusing on this demographic, we aim to empower a generation of young Nigerians with the skills needed to thrive in the digital economy, thereby reducing unemployment and fostering economic growth.
