Describe your project or startup in a few words
eRRANDA is a person to person delivery system that connects small businesses with travelers who will be willing to take on delivery tasks for them, this will ensure faster deliveries and cost efficiency as we leverage already intending travelers.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
About 3 lost sales for small and medium scale businesses today in Nigeria are lost because of the inability for small business owners to meet up with delivery timelines of their customers, traditional delivery services today are both slow and expensive, and this impedes the growth of small businesses in Nigeria. With eRRANDA, we are moving last mile deliveries to the hands of everyday individuals, travelers will be given the opportunity to take on small delivery requests, especially for SMEs, and get paid for it. This will ensure deliveries happen at least 75% faster, ad we leverage on already intending travelers, and up to 50% cheaper than traditional delivery services. We are set out to simplify and unbundle the delivery process and make it even more likely for SME's to meet up with customer demands and in turn scale their businesses faster.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
We have noticed from experience and from research the bottlenecks that exists in the logistics industries and how SME's can be better serviced. We are trying to reduce the cost of logistics and also increase the speed at which the logistics process will be completed end to end.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
1. Our system will provide the fastest delivery speeds ever in Nigeria as we leverage people who already want to travel. 2. Our charges will be the least, up to 50% cheaper, compared to what is attainable today. 3. We will unbundle the process and create ease for business owners and individuals who have little delivery needs, our application handles the algorithm of searching and finding possible matches, provide contact details to both parties and handle verification.
