Neurafric is a data-driven solution addressing Nigeria's persistent power challenges by leveraging advanced analytics to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the electricity grid. Data Collection & Analysis: We gather data from smart meters, substations, and generators. Our AI models analyze this data to identify bottlenecks, predict grid behavior, and optimize power generation and distribution. Support for DisCos & GenCos: Distribution Companies (DisCos): Gain real-time insights for proactive maintenance, minimized outages, and improved service delivery. Generation Companies (GenCos): Optimize generation schedules, reduce energy waste, and enhance overall grid stability. Measurable Impact: Neurafric delivers tangible results by tracking metrics like reduced outage frequency and duration for DisCos, and improved efficiency and cost savings for GenCos.

Nigeria's unreliable power grid leads to frequent outages, disrupting lives, hindering businesses, and limiting economic potential. Neurafric addresses this by applying data science to optimize grid infrastructure Here's how we fight blackouts with data: Grid Whisperer: We use advanced AI to interpret data from smart meters, substations, and generators. The Power Sector: Distribution companies (DisCos) and generation companies (GenCos) can leverage Neurafric's AI-powered insights to optimize their operations. This could lead to fewer outages, improved efficiency, and potentially lower costs. Policymakers: Data-driven recommendations from Neurafric's AI can inform policy decisions on infrastructure investment, renewable energy integration, and grid modernization. In terms of technical skills and experience, I have a solid foundation in machine learning and deep learning, as evidenced by my certifications in DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow, TensorFlow: Advanced Techniques, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning. My proficiency in programming, particularly Python, is showcased through my completion of the Python for Everybody Specialization. I'm deeply passionate about AI and its potential to solve complex problems, which resonates with Neurafric's mission. Professionally, my role as a Drilling Engineer at Candix allowed me to leverage my mechanical engineering background to optimize operations, directly applicable to developing AI solutions. Regarding education, I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, equipping me with strong analytical and problem-solving skills essential in the field.
