We give users control over how, when, who and where they network. We want users to be able to manage their time and promote their products and services while connecting with people of like minds any and everywhere they go.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Currently, we go to a place hoping to network but sometimes some of us come back home without meeting anyone, or we do with just one or two. This could be due to the mood we were in, or the fact that we are introverts and can't initiate connections/networking with others. This cuts across various interests, locations, and events, and it is a problem. Only people in charge of these events or locations can share their contacts or details for others to connect to them. What if that power is given to all? What if you are new to a city and decide to meet a fashion designer by 5 pm today to share your thoughts on a design you saw online, you choose to play tennis with some guys by 6 pm, attend an event by 7 pm and decide to network with over 10 persons there, and end the day with a date by 9 pm, all without knowing them prior before your schedule? We aim to give social media users control over their time, interests and social class. Users should be able to connect with others in real-time.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The lack of control over when, where and how to connect/network. The inability of users to discover and experience a location/event before getting there.

We give users real-time control to decide when, where and how to connect with others of similar interests. We want them to discover, and experience places before they get there, in real-time and for these locations/events to come alive as a source of content. We want users and organizations to have equal control, get instant feedback and make coming out worthwhile.

Onyion targets all Social media users globally. All social media users who step out every day hoping to network, experience and discover places and services they love on the go.

The product/service we envision creating represents an entirely new type of product/service Onyion brings about real-time networking and control over where, how and when we connect. It connects people to not just products but services rendered around them. The product/service we envision creating is an improvement on an existing product or service It improves on social media platforms available but with better and more control over interest, time and social class. It also improves on promoting not just products but services rendered around any region. The product/service we envision creating responds to a demand or need that has not been satisfied by other products/services This need has not been met before, currently, no platform allows users to network with people coming to an event/location or one that connects people in the same event/location in real-time.

Currently, there are no real-time networking competitors rather social media platforms promote events as advertisements.

I often encourage female friends who have dreams and or interests to pursue their dreams and passions and I give time and support available to me.
