Naija Clinic is an online platform that allows users to speak to a qualified and vetted doctor, anywhere, anytime, at the comfort of their home. 50.2% of patients in Nigeria do not adhere to their medication regimens. The most common reasons for non-compliance were forgetfulness, stopping medication when feeling better, and not understanding the importance of medication. With our AI assistant that provides personalised medical follow up & 24/7 availability of doctors based on a shift schedule model, we can ensure that all patients & customers on our platform use thier drugs appropriately and at the right thereby ensuring a better health rate of our users.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
(1) Long Wait Times (In-person hospital visits often involve long wait times, cutting into patients’ valuable time.) (2) Limited Access to Care (People with mobility limitations or busy schedules may struggle to find convenient healthcare options.) (3) High Cost of Accessing Healthcare (Hospital visit is expensive, with costs associated with transportation, and potential time off work.)

In cases like this, a platform like NaijaClinic can make it possible for individuals to still have access to medical services without leaving their home.

10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
Yes. Through my startup Codebarrack, we've been able to train various female undergraduate students in programming/coding/tech related skills that have made them a role model to the younger ones.
