This health and nutritional project will help provide access to health benefits to Patients in the targeted places and communities with health challenges among the elders and young people to improve the livelihood of human existence.

Our mission is to bring quality health care to the patients in targeted places and also communities through the synergistic collaboration of innovative amalgamation of Pharmaceutical care (community Pharmacies) and nutritious bakeries for the production of fortified natural nutritional products that can tackle the impact of poor compliance to medication in the management of lifetime illnesses and to alleviate the adverse effect of free radicals in the body among patients in targeted places and also communities in Sub-Saharan Africa.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The vision of this organisation is to enhance the livelihood of members of patients in targeted places and also communities through the Innovative Amalgamation of Pharmaceutical Care and Nutrition to mitigate the impact of poor compliance to medications in the management of lifetime illnesses to mention but such as high blood pressure, diabetes among the elderly and young adults (SDG3 good health and well-being) through the production of fortified natural nutritional products that can mitigate the impact of poor compliance to medications thereby reducing the mortality rate of human lives when compliance is compromised. And also to alleviate the impact of free radicals and to tackle malnutrition through nutritious and enriched edible products at an affordable rate within Sub-Saharan Africa.

PRODUCTS ● Drug products to patients ● Provision of personalised fortified natural nutritional dietary products to avert the impact of poor compliance with medications. ● Counselling of patients on medications. ● Accessibility to medical equipment. ● Donation of drugs and medical consumables for Medical outreaches. SERVICES ● HealthLead Pharmacy will be helping patients with the proper use of the medications or drug education to limit the occurrence of adverse effects on the patients, especially pregnant and breastfeeding women. ● Educating patients on the Non- pharmacological approaches in the management of illnesses e.g DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) DIET ● The HealthLead Pharmacy will be working with the nutrition bakery and dietary to provide patients with fortified natural nutritional products to mitigate the impact of poor compliance with medications. ● HealthLead Pharmacy will be a channel for the accessibility to medical equipment.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

TARGET MARKET The target market will be the elderly and young adults with long-term manageable illnesses such as hypertension, and diabetes who are on lifetime drugs and can suffer mortality effects as a result of lack of compliance to medications. COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE Apart from selling conventional drugs, blood pressure checking, monitoring of blood glucose level and marketing strategies, the production of the fortified natural nutritional product that can mitigate the adverse effects of poor compliance to their medications will give us a competitive advantage over the others who are just involved in the selling of drugs to the patient without providing the additional and innovative method and or supportive care to mitigate or cushion the impact of poor compliance.

05.08 Justification

our project will be innovative because in our community pharmacy outlet will engage the professionals of Pharmacies, Nurses and dieticians who will help to manage our patient properly with innovative production of natural fortified dietary products that will to mitigate the impact of poor compliance with medications. This is one of the reasons we need to incorporate pharmacy and nutrition in our business.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Other pharmacy outlets. However, the incorporation of the dietary approach in the management of illnesses will make us stand out and will also encourage production and employability.

10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

yes, because among our team we have more females than males. that is 4 females and 3 males in the community of our organisational space. concerning my entrepreneurial experience I am among the successful candidates who recently completed entrepreneurial classes that were conducted by United People Global (UPG) and we are going to be certified in June 2024.
