Giitmoh Cakes & Events is a new business creating healthy & delicious treats alongside stunning event design. We use high-quality ingredients & reduced-sugar options for health-conscious customers. Our passionate decorators personalize event spaces. We're also dedicated to empowering women by offering training programs in baking & event styling, equipping them for success.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
We address three challenges: 1) Consumers want healthier treat options without sacrificing taste. 2) Planning & executing memorable events can be overwhelming. 3) Many women lack the skills & opportunities for economic independence. Giitmoh provides delicious & healthy treats, takes the stress out of event design, and empowers women with valuable skills through training programs.

Giitmoh targets several groups: 1) Individuals & businesses seeking healthy treats for personal use, corporate events, or celebrations. 2) Event planners & individuals who need full-service event design or customized styling solutions. 3) Organizations & people who value supporting women's entrepreneurship & development initiatives. Ultimately, everyone who desires delicious treats, beautiful events, and supporting a company that empowers women benefits from us.

Adeyemo Itunuoluwa: Our Head Chef, boasts 4 years of experience in the baking industry and holds a degree in Computer Information Systems. Christian Anyanwu: Our Business Development Manager, has 7 years of experience in business management and holds a degree in Accounting. Owoeye Oluwakemi: Leading our Training Programs, Oluwakemi has 5 years of experience in event styling and baking. With a background in English Language Studies.

Giitmoh actively promotes women's empowerment. Two out of three our partners are female, and we prioritize training young women. This challenges traditional gender roles and creates opportunities for women to be economically independent and leaders in the baking and event industry.

While SDG 6 isn't a core focus of our business model, we will however, during events would collaborate with vendors who prioritize sustainable water practices, like using biodegradable cups or offering water filtration stations. We can also partner with local organizations promoting water conservation. Encouraging suppliers to adopt sustainable water practices in their own operations can have a ripple effect. We can research and prioritize suppliers who are water-conscious in their production processes. Also, as Giitmoh grows, we will host workshops or events raising awareness about water conservation in our community. Educating customers and inspiring responsible water use.

While SDG & isn't a core focus of our business model, we however would seek partnerships with bakeries that utilize sustainable energy sources like solar power for their operations. This could encourage the adoption of such practices within the industry. And we grows, we can prioritize acquiring energy-efficient equipment for our operations, reducing our overall energy consumption.

Also, by training women and having female co-founders, we challenge traditional gender norms in the industry. Yes, I recently hosted an school outreach tagged "Raising a future forward female", an initiative that aim to invest in female child education, well being and skill development
