01.01 Describe your project in more detail
The projected Charistan e-pharmacy is a digital pharmacy that focuses on pharmaceutical treatment, electronic medical records, electronic consultation, and medicine delivery as its primary services. According to a Pharmatimes interview with Pharm. Nurudeen Aimanekhi Elijah Mohammed, the registrar of the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN), the ratio of pharmacists to patients is 1:15,000, as to 1:50,000 according to World Health Organization (WHO) based on the estimated population of 150 million. The e-pharmacy is designed to be an easy-to-use platform that takes advantage of the widespread availability of mobile networks and high-speed internet to facilitate virtual consultations, medication purchases, appointment scheduling, and health record management. This facilitates virtual connections between patients and healthcare providers.It also aims to enlighten it subscribers to drug information and ways to curb infectious diseases via infographics.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
1) To offer access to licensed pharmacist and other healthcare providers to underserved area or region that have little access without having to visit a medical institution, which saves time and lessens the inconvenience of commuting. 2)To offer access to quality and affordable medicines, nutraceuticals and devices by sourcing directly from manufacturers, and distributors. 3)With the advent of technology and social media, increase awareness of antimicrobial resistances, educate on the importance of immunizations and vaccines a medication informations and enlighten the populace on different medical conditions. 4) To provide electronic medical records

Pharmacist Ogwu Winifred- A full time community pharmacist with about 5years experience in retail pharmacy practice. Pharmacist Mercy ifunaya, a full time pharmacist in Alpha Pharmacy with great counselling skills and e-commerce expertise. Pharmacist Jennifer Ukamaka, a pharmacist who has product management skill, business development, and strategy skill and also a regulatory officer for New Heights Pharmaceutical.

05.08 Justification
I will say this startup is a new version of other existing products but rather a modification of already existing brands. There are a couple of brands that render telepharmacy services but not all have been aimed to get there target audiences health record digitalized. As a way to reach more audiences, we will partner with NGO,private organizations and sponsor the data collection aspect. Often times, the manual data collected during free medical outreaches and no follow up is been document to ensure the patient whose vital signs have been checked is either improving or otherwise.
