Every year we have young teens and young adults graduate from schools either higher or college education with little or no skills. Empowering Young Graduands 202 is about equipping the youth with payable skills that ensures they keep earning even in hard

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Empowering young graduands 202 aim at ensuring that young teens and youth are equipped with necessary skills that are payable and also equipped them with skills necessary to market and make their skills marketable. It about reducing the high rate of unemployed youth and underemployed youth by empowering to be self reliance and financially independent especially in our economy coupled with inflation and low payment. Skills such as fashion designing, catering and baking, makeup and digital skills such as affiliate marketing, search engine optimization, cyber security etc would be taught. The project aim at empowering people with this valid skills and ideas, paid them and make them pass on this skills to as many youth as possible that are interested in the skills. Young teens from secondary who are done writing the secondary school exams will be taught life paying skills and at the end a soft grant would be awarded to a few of them who showed seriousness, diligence, during the training .

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The Empowering Young Graduands 202 aim at; 1. Solving the problem of underemployment and unemployment. 2. Giving your people a sense of belonging by providing them with me and of making legitimate money. 3. It provides a source of income for both the trainees and those training them. 4. Some youth now soil their hands trying to make end meet but with this project, it takes them off the street and focuses their minds on positivity. 5 Some Nigerian Youth now engages in Yahoo, cyber crimes etc. With the right knowledge in Cyber security and other relevant digital skills, this crimes would be reduced. Recent graduands often fave several challenges when transitioning from either secondary school or the university to the workforce. Navigating this critical phase of life requires practical advice and strategies to build self confidence, developed essential skills and successfully navigate the job market. Recent graduands often face several challenges when transitioning from their secondary school and the university to the work force. Navigating this critical phase of life requires the right advice, strategies and resources to build the graduands self confidence, develop essential life skills to generate income and navigate the job market successfully. Some of the challenges the graduands faces includes; 1. Lack of work experience: they lack the necessary work experience needed for a particular job and the lack the job for the work experience. 2. Difficulty in standing out in the competitive market. This project is tailored towards providing young graduands with valuable insights, guidance and life transferable skills such as fashion designing, catering, digital marketing etc for a seamless transition to the professional world by various training and workshop, making them cultivate a skill for adaptable workforce, fostering innovation through diverse ideas , perspectives and self grow

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The project at building sustainable skills and development for young teens and young adult by helping them navigate seamlessly in the workforce. In Nigeria where the cost of living is very high with prices hikes in goods and inflation, surviving especially for families and provision of basic social amenities is no more the responsibility of the parents but of everyone. A young teens who just graduate from secondary education needs basic skills that will help me navigate throughout his tertiary education by providing him/her with life supporting skills which can serve as work experience after his/her tertiary education. After tertiary education, finding a job with job experiences below five years is very difficult, high competition in the labour market contributing to this, in Nigeria, fresh graduates yearly is over a million people, the project provides this graduates with skills that makes them stands out in a competitive market, giving them certification and work experience to work

We have two active partners. Hope foundation is owned by a lady names Mrs Hope Barry, she runs an NGO and a mentorship class, with certification in Public Speaking The Hope Foundation is centered on coaching and mentoring secondary students on career choices while also providing them with basic school needs such as pens, books, notebooks, school bags etc. The Mathics is from the word Mathematics, it's owned by Mr. Sandy, he is a graduate of Anatomy . The Mathics is a group of mathematics enthusiastic who believes mathematics is the most simplest subjects and their aim is to reduce mathematics phobia in children and teenagers. They visit school through the Smile Project, present seminars, coach young people on mathematics, give private lessons and tutorials, share mathematics sets and textbook. The Mathics is an NGOs with a team of young minds with passion for mathematics and last year they were recognized by the state government for their support and efforts towards mathematics love

They young graduates also lacks experience and networking. They struggle with needing experience to get a job and needing a job to get experience. They also faces challenges in networking which is very crucial I'm securing employment opportunities and security, most of them end up either underemployed or unemployed. Difficulty in standing out in the competitive market. Financial stress can lead to depression, mental stress and one of the major cause of suicide is depression. The project would have a direct effect on the health and well being of the youth as it will curb depression, mental break down and adverntly avert suicide.

The project aim at setting out trainings sessions, tutorial etc to help the recent graduands. We aim at doing this by deploying various strategies such as; 1. Mentoring programs- experienced professionals will guide and support young graduands in their career path. This provides insights and advices for the youth will imparting them with life support skills for income generating. 2. Skill development and workshops - workshops , training sessions will be carried out to enhance their skills in areas such as leadership, communication skills, problem solving and technical expertises. 3. Internship and apprenticeship 4. Entrepreneurship support would be given with access to resources, fundings and mentorship and funds to start their ventures. 4. Career counseling services would be offered by professionals in different skills. 5. Networking events will be held where graduates can connect with professionals and potential employers expanding their networking opportunities.

My main competitors is the government through the initiative of the wife of my state governor. After transition of power there's a high possiility the next government may not continue the programme.
