Our project focuses on manufacturing eco-friendly bricks using a blend of recycled plastic and cement. This innovative approach addresses two critical issues: plastic waste management and sustainable construction materials. By transforming plastic waste into durable bricks, we contribute to environmental conservation efforts by reducing plastic pollution. These bricks are designed to meet or exceed local building standards for strength, durability, and thermal insulation, making them suitable for various construction applications. Our goal is to offer a viable alternative to traditional clay bricks, promoting green building practices and supporting Nigeria's sustainable development goals. 01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem we are addressing is twofold: the environmental impact of plastic waste and the need for sustainable construction materials in Nigeria. Plastic pollution is a significant issue globally, with Nigeria facing challenges in waste management and environmental degradation. By using recycled plastic to manufacture bricks, we aim to reduce plastic waste that would otherwise end up in landfills or oceans. Simultaneously, there is a demand for eco-friendly building materials in Nigeria to support infrastructure development while minimizing environmental footprint. Our solution provides a sustainable alternative to traditional clay bricks, contributing to both environmental conservation and sustainable development in the construction sector.
