The project involves establishing a social enterprise focused on designing sustainable handbags. The handbags will be made from eco- friendly materials like organic cotton, corduroy etc. The production will prioritise sustainability .

To implement this project , I will first have to Identify local women interested in learning sewing and design skills. Provide training workshops on production techniques, design principles, and sustainable practices. Establish a production facility equipped with necessary tools and materials. Develop a product line of eco-friendly handbags, incorporating local designs and global trends. Implement marketing strategies to promote products locally and globally, leveraging online platforms and partnerships with ethical retailers. Regularly assess the project's impact on participants' livelihoods, environmental outcomes, and community engagement. Adjust strategies as needed to maximize positive outcomes and sustainability.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The project aims to solve the following problems : 1. Poverty Alleviation:Many communities, especially women in low-income areas, lack stable sources of income. This project serves as a gateway to these women. 2. Environmental Protection: The fashion industry contributes significantly to environmental degradation through waste generation and resource consumption. The production process utilizes exo-friendly materials thereby minimizing environmental pollution. 3. Gender Equality:Women often face barriers to economic empowerment and entrepreneurship. This project will equip interested person and help them gain hands-on experience and also earn a living.

Major benefits of this project include : 1. Sustainable Production: By using eco-friendly materials and adopting sustainable practices, the project reduces environmental impact compared to conventional fashion production. 2. This empowers them with valuable skills for employment or entrepreneurship. 3.
