Design Africa 1.0 is a project which aims to teach and mentor 100 young adults for 8 weeks on the principle, business and the art of graphic and UX designing. On completion of this project each successful candidates will receive an accredited certificate.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Design Africa 1.0 is a project created with the vision to equip 100 young Africans with an indemand soft skill (graphics Design) to help each candidates grow financially independent and to alleviate poverty and reduce crime in Nigeria. This is the first of its kind an it would kick start with 100 young Nigerians including both male and females from age range of 13 to 25. This project will cover 4 graphics design field; graphics Illustration, business design, logo designs, UI design and motion design. Added to this each candidates will learn the principles an art of designing and also the business of graphic design. We aim to partner with more prestigious organisation including Total energies inother to issue out accredited certificate to successful candidates. This project is a 8 weeks virtual project, after which a 3 months close mentorship will be offered to candidates who completed the program, this is to ensure that each candidates are successful with this skill.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The aim of this project is to solve the problem of unemployment amongst young Africans, poverty and also to take a step in reducing the crime rate (including cybercrime).

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

This project will help each candidates grow financially independent and also supports will be offered to candidates who show zeal but lack basic tools and requirements for the intense virtual project.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

This project is the first of its kind and it is for both male and female from nationality of Nigeria, who are between the age range of 13 to 25 years of years. Although preference will be give to candidates irrespective of gender who show passion for arts and design.

I am currently in partnership with Ethereal Atelier a growing community of professional designers in various design field. This community and i have come to share same vision.
