01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Mike Onebunne & Co NIG Ltd is a successful business enterprise that has strived for over 20 years and it majorly deals with purchase of baking items and production of bread, baking items such as bread softener, bread tie, butter, flavors, sugar, preservatives and several other raw materials used in the baking industry. This project is aimed at further expanding the business to venture into the production of raw materials for baking here in Nigeria. This is aimed at ensuring the production of quality raw materials used in baking in Nigeria are top notch and are in tune with the approved health standards, further reducing the quantity of adulterated products satiating the market, reducing the cost of baking materials whilst preserving quality.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The main problem I’m trying to solve is enlisted below : 1. Production of quality baking materials in the market. 2. Reducing the cost of baking materials. 3. Production of better quality products by reducing the quantity of chemicals and preservatives added to baking materials as a lot of them are sourced outside the country thereby increasing the addition of preservatives. 4. Improving the quality and price of bread consumed in Nigeria.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
The benefit of outsourcing for goods in various countries is enormous and can't be stated in a thousand words but a list of few: 1. Production of indigenous raw materials for baking. 2. We could be opening the doors of our country to foreign investors depending on the volume they can supply and how good the market likes their product. 3. Final consumers will begin to see value of their money spent each time on a product. 4. The market at large will be receiving quality products that have been tested and approved by Nafdac agencies and other food agencies that has been put in place by the Nigerian government. 5. It will help to bring more development to the city of Aba, Abia-State, Nigeria as the State government is working hard to ensure the city welcomes investors, by creating job opportunities.
01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
My project is aimed at supplying distributors of baking materials products at affordable and sustainable rates, and also creating opportunities for the final consumers to enjoy the value of their money by being able to purchase quality bakery products.

Mike Onebunne & Co Ltd is a family enterprise consisting of Mr Mike Onebunne who is the Cheif Executive Officer and Founder, a skilled business mogul who runs the company using traditional Igbo business system and has successful ran the business for over 20 years and is run concurrently with his family, Mr Michael Onebunne ego is a graduate of Federal University of Technology Owerri, Paschal Onebunne a graduate of Food Science Technology from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, miss Francess Onebunne a student of Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Nigeria Nssuka and Henry Onebunne a student of Mechanical Engineer at Eastern Mediterranean University Three sales personnel by the names Mrs Jovita, Miss Blessing and Miss Goodness.

Just like I have stated earlier, it has alot to do with pricing of foods and making sure customers are supplied with the best at the most affordable price. Its geared towards reduce the purchasing power for customers and the final consumers. Business requires the exchange of goods for money and there is great intention for customers to be able to get quality goods at low pricing. This goal is possible and can be widely achieved. The goal is to start from Aba, Abia-State which has been the hub for our market place and at a good pace we incorporate expansion across the country.

Giants in the baking firm are our biggest competitors but what makes us stand out is our accessibility, quality and affordability of our products.

Yes, I have females who work in my company and the baking industry, is a female fominatrd industry as well.
