Tesseract De-mineralized Water
Describe your project or startup in a few words
The De-mineralized Water production will be used to fill up Tubular batteries and in the creation of electrolytes for batteries.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Lead Acid Batteries are a mainstay in the provision of sustainable and alternative power supply for electricity consumers. De-mineralized Water (DM Water) is used in the maintenance of Tubular Lead Acid Batteries and the production of electrolytes for these batteries. Most of the available DM water in the Nigerian market are not of the required quality (less than 5PPM) as such this is a viable market to be exploited. The equipments needed for production will enable me to make the DM water cheaper than what is available in the market. Most water available, that are of quality are produced through distillation. And production through distillation is more expensive than the de-ionization process I intend to utilise.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Water and electrolytes for the maintenance of Tubular Lead Acid Batteries in the solar industry. As time goes on, I plan to expand and produce water for general consumption in the production of soaps, creams and other goods manufacturing sector.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
It would be of high quality and can help extend the life of the batteries which overall will keep the cost of maintaining a solar system per home lower than is available in the market in general. It will be locally produced which is a plus to the Nigerian economy as revenue generated will be spent within the economy this drive growth. A lot of the technologies consumed in the country are imported and as such affect the overall purchasing power of the Naira. I believe this need to be remedied. My goal is to play my own small part in supporting the growth of the Nigerian economy and Naira by making products that are being imported available in Nigeria
01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
Installers of solar systems and consumers of solar systems.
01.05 When did you start working on your project?
2022-09-01
01.06 How many other partners are associated with your business venture?
2
01.07 Among the other partners, how many are female?
1
01.08 Please describe the profile of each of the other partners (skills, experience, etc.)
Two partners: One male- Chemical engineer in the petroleum and gas industry with 4 years experience. He brings that network and a possibility of fresh ideas from that industry. One female: A legal expert to be in charge of the legal aspects of the business.

02.01.01 My project contributes to the No poverty goal
5
02.01.02 No poverty - Justification
It will create employment for individuals. The experience need can be taught even to an unskilled non-graduate which would help reduce operating expenses. Unskilled non-graduates are more under the poverty threshold than graduates and skilled labour as such this would help lift those employed above the poverty threshold.
02.02.01 My project contributes to the Zero hunger goal
5
02.02.02 Zero hunger - Justification
As stated lifting this folks out of the poverty line boundary will increase their purchasing power for basic necessities.

02.05.01 My project contributes to the Gender equality goal
7 - Strongly Agree
02.05.02 Gender equality - Justification
The job does not really require manual labour in some aspects and as such is open to all genders. Women pay more attention to detail than men in some aspects and this would be needed.
02.06.01 My project contributes to the Clean water and sanitation goal
7 - Strongly Agree
02.06.02 Clean water and sanitation - Justification
The company is in the production of clean water. This is a major plus for the organisation. There are no waste products that need to be excavated. So sanitation is not an issue.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?
Powermax PVT LTD. And other local organisations that produce through distillation method. Powermax PVT LTD is a foreign owned company. Mine will be local and will employ locally and and improve in general the Nigerian economy. My method of production (De-mineralization) will enable me sell cheaper than the distillation employed locally produced battery water available in the market.
10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
Not at the moment. But female employees will be employed.
