This project solve the problem of existing poor and unhygienic ways of processing Cassava flakes in our some of Nigeria rural areas, making use of modern technology machinery to improve the production and manage the wastage so as to have higher yield.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

This project is about building a mini factory with modern day machineries for food processing that will enhance production of hygienic production of cassava flakes and other edibles products from Cassava for human and animals. The project will enhance optimum maximization of cassava which boost the food availability in the project immediate environment and the country at large. Most local producers use local equipment which leads wastage of the cassavas which will later affect the final products. With modern equipments like milling Machines, Dryers a well set up premises wastage and hygienic product will be achievable, Also it will be a major selling point for farmers around Iluju,ikose, tewure axis of ogbomoso Oyo state which will solve the problem of where to sell there farm produce, and the problem of transporting it to far distance will solved. Problem of poor sales due to mass harvest during raining season by farmers will also be solve.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem this project is will solving are: 1. The problem of food scarcity which have results into food high price of foods in the market. 2. The problem of Unemployment Most youth in this rural area are most time left with options travelling outside their villages dues to lack of employment most times or most of them are left with the options of farming ,there some instances where some of the youth needs an upkeep before the farming season ,this project will solve the problems of youth in that category. 3. Development Situation this project in a rural area where 80% of the inhabitants are farmer's will bring development to that area because the buyers of the product are likely to be come from urban areas , their coming down to buy product will enhance the sales of other goods and services in the project environment.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

1. The major benefits of the project is to enhance and support the fight against food scarcity by different government and non government firm. 2. To ensure to people are consuming hygienic cassava products now that cassava is a major foods that of almost every House hold in Nigeria, so as to keep fellow copatriorts in good health. 3. To solve the problem of where to sell ? whom to sell to ? To the existing farmers and intending farmers if people know that they don't have problem selling their farm produce they'll be encouraged to farm more while it serve as an encouraging factors for others that want to venture into farming and even attract more people to add farming to their occupations.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The project will serve the general public as the consumer of the product, High yield of the product due to modern technology machinery will positively affect the price of the product, which will be a major benefits for the public at large. The youth both male and female we have employment opportunity The adult will also benefit from the project e.g the driver's, artisans etc.

Three males are agricultural engineering students they help in term of getting suitable machinery for every phase of the the production Two out of the four females had been in the field of local production of cassava flakes their idea is needed to solve the existing problems in the fields. Two females are market woman they have years of experience in buying and selling of farm produce they'll help pricing of cassava and others. The remaining 3 males are administrative team.

05.08 Justification

There are large numbers of customers that are interested in buying the product which the present local manufacturer are unable to meet their demands,while they haven't not satisfied producing hygienic cassava flakes as demands by some consumers. It's not a new type of product we are working on using modern day machineries to enhance the production of cassava flakes.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

My main competitors are local cassava flakes producers And I'm very sure people will prefer to buy hygienically prepare to product compare to their products, The high yield targets via wastage control by using modern machineries will enhance selling in good price compare to theirs.
