As a victim and with the incessant unauthorized withdrawals from bank customers accounts without banks recovering these stolen funds from fraudsters, my proposed mobile application will enable bank customers lock and unlock their accounts when not in use.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

My mobile application concept will enable all the bank customers to link their various bank accounts with different banks to the mobile application, and with a lock and unlock option activated whenever the customer wants to use or his/her account, that way no account can be accessed by fraudsters, or very difficult to steal from customers bank accounts. In case of fraudulent withdrawal or transactions on customers bank accounts, a customer can in the comfort of his/her room block his/her bank account (s) from further unauthorized transactions with a simple tap on the lock account function on the mobile application without having to rush to their banks or wait till a working day (if it's on a weekend) and join long queues at the bank to report cases of fraudulent transactions, especially withdrawals from their bank accounts, when such monies must have gone and banks would'nt assist in recovering such monies. Recent is the case of Shan George's millions transferred from her bank account

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

High level of fraud and theft perpetrated by scammers on people's bank accounts with banks not doing much, or not offering assistance in the recovery of these stolen funds from the culprits for their bank customers, rather they adopt delay tactics of giving the affected customers false hope by adding more sore to injury by telling them come tomorrow, the tomorrow that would never end, until when such customers are tired and decide to give up, become depressed or even commit suicide depending on the huge sums involved.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

The benefits of this mobile application is enormous; Fraudulent activities will be reduced in the banking sector. It will be convenient to all the customers. Customers funds will be safe. Customers confidence will be restored again in keeping their savings in the bank. Bank customers will have peace of mind over their monies in the bank. It will reduce the associated stress of rushing to banks to join complaints queues. It will halt the number of suicide associated with fraudulent withdrawals from customers bank accounts. Bank customers can lock their bank accounts whenever they are not in use for transactions and nobody can have access to their funds, and bank customers can unlock their locked bank account with ease to perform transactions and lock it back. In fact, the benefits are much.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The targeted beneficiaries of this mobile application project are all the bank customers both in Nigeria and other countries that wish to adopt it. Anybody that has accounts with banks falls under the category of my targeted beneficiaries of this great idea. In population, the targeted population are in hundred of millions with at least one or more bank accounts at different banks.

05.08 Justification

My project idea is very unique and innovative because because it will offer a big sigh of relief to bank customers in protecting their bank accounts in the comfort of their homes and anywhere after every transaction they make this fraustrating the effort of scammers from having unauthorized access to bank customers accounts. This wish reduce or completely stop the issue of fraudulent withdrawals from customers accounts, and assuming it happens, it can be blocked by customers without necessarily rushing to their banks or losing all their monies as people have reported in recent times, with banks doing very little or absolutely nothing about recovering such funds.

My potential competitors are other mobile apps developers, especially in the financial sector but my unique innovation which is a child of necessity stands me aloof among them.
