My project is centered on the production of scent leaf spice made from dried scent leaf powder which will be packaged in different plastic bags, hence making its aromatic flavour readily available in the culinary world to satisfy the palate of consumers.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
My project, Mabella Scent Powder is aimed at bringing nature to one's doorstep as it intends to save one the stress of going in search of scent leaves when the need arises in the preparation of delicacies such as soup, stew and sauce. Mabella Scent Powder just as the name "scent" implies, will bring out the savory taste of homemade dishes as the raw materials (scent leaves) will be carefully picked from the farm, dried and pulverized into fine powder and packaged in plastic bags of different sizes with different prices tags, hence giving my customers the purchasing power to afford my product at every given point in time. My project is a sustainable one as an irrigation system will be set up for steady water supply to the scent leaf farm and it is focused on protecting the ecosystem as its production will be eco-friendly and will help to reduce waste. My project will also empower the youths through job creation, thereby reducing the rate of unemployment and maximizing profit.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
My product intends to fill in the gap in the culinary world by providing dishes with an enhanced taste as it will come in handy on a rainy day for example, during drought. My product also intends to serve as an alternative to synthetic drugs as it will serve as a natural remedy to various diseases when included in diets. The processed form of my product will also help to reduce food waste and address the need for efficient and sustainable food preservation techniques. It will also promote sustainable agriculture practices and mitigate environmental degradation.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
1. My product provides dishes with an irresistible taste and aroma. 2. My product intends to serve as a natural remedy to various diseases such as fever, indigestion, and cold when included in diets. 3. The availability and affordability of my product will give my customers easy access to the aroma of scent leaf in their dishes especially during the scarcity of fresh scent leaves. 4. My product will also save one the stress and time of processing/preparing fresh scent leaves before use.

My targeted beneficiaries include the following; Restaurant owners Chefs and hoteliers Food Manufacturers Health- conscious individuals Vegetarians Spice traders and wholesalers Online marketers Enthusiasts of international cuisine. Countries with a high demand for scent leaves.

05.08 Justification
My project is unique and innovative as it is geared towards satisfying the palate of my customers at any given point in time, whilst maximizing profit. It is a sustainable business which will add value to the economy because spices are known to be fast moving consumer goods. Its production and packaging is eco-friendly, hence will reduce waste. My business will also inspire and encourage other entrepreneurs.

My main potential competitors are established spice companies, local farmers, entrepreneurs in similar line of business and online spice vendors. What makes me stand out from them include; My passion to bring nature to the doorstep of my customers. Punctuality in delivery of my product. Availability and affordability of my product. Packaging and branding of my product. Sustainable and locally sourced nature of my product. My commitment in the business and top notch customer service. My partnerships with local farmers Loyalty and trustworthiness which will help me build strong relationships with my customers and partners. My careful selection and processing of scent leaves ensures a high-quality product. My ability to adapt to changing market demands and customer preferences.
