01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Our project aims to establish a sustainable and profitable integrated farm, producing high-quality animal products (fish, poultry, and livestock) for the local markets. The project will be managed by a team of specialists such as, an animal science professional with National Diploma (ND) in Fisheries Technology and Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture with keen interest in animal production and management, coordinated by a retired and agile civil servant with vast administrative expertise, a reputable economist, business administrator and a trained security guard. The proposed farm site will be suitable for animal production, with adequate water supply and grazing land. Initial production capacity will be 2,000 birds (poultry), 5,000 fish (aquaculture), and 20 livestock (cattle and goats). The project requires an initial investment of ₦15 million and is expected to generate ₦25 million in annual revenue, with a net profit margin of 10% in the first year, increasing to 40% by year three.

Using the integrated farm approach. El-Nurah Chado Integrated Farm aims to solve the following problems. 1. Optimizing resource use: Ensuring efficient use of land, water, and feed resources. 2. Minimizing waste and environmental impact: Implementing closed-loop systems to reduce waste and environmental degradation. 3. Improving animal health and welfare: Providing a healthy and safe environment for animals. 4. Increasing productivity and yields: Implementing best practices and technology to maximize output. 5. Reducing costs and improving profitability: Streamlining operations and improving efficiency to increase profitability. 6. Food security and sustainability 7.
