We have designed what we call off grid commercial water dispensing system, which is technically built to dispense cold and warm water publicly, to discourage the use of single use plastic and sachet water bags and grab a refillable water bottle instead.

off grid commercial water dispensing system is technically built to dispense cold and warm water publicly, it is solar powered with a back up fuel less generator, it has monitor screen and sound system for advert placement to generate revenue,it will be mounted publicly. This system will work hand in hand with a high quality refillable water bottle.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Globally, land and marine based plastic pollution are causing severe ecological problem with potential risk to human health. In Nigeria over 69 million single use plastic and sachet water bags are consumed and disposed of daily in Nigeria. This was contained in chapter 22 in the challenge of plastic pollution in Nigeria.

* with the introduction of both the off grid commercial water dispensing system and high quality refillable water bottle, will cut down the demand for single use plastic bottle and sachet water bags, which are the major source of plastic pollution in oceans,rivers, and landfills, contributing to environmental degradation and harming marine life. * By choosing a refillable water bottle over disposable alternatives, individuals can significantly reduce the amount of plastic and leather waste generated, leading to less litter, landfill over flow and resource depletion.
