Our project is focused on making accessible, quality wound care services available for people residents in resource-limited communities. We will incorporate the use of Digital Health for consultation, tracking and marketing of modern wound care products

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Tissue Health Hub will provide virtual wound care consultations conducted by experienced healthcare personnel. Patients will have the convenience of accessing expert advice and guidance from the comfort of their own homes, eliminating the need for travel and reducing barriers to quality care. Consultations will include assessment, treatment recommendations, and ongoing support to promote wound healing. Our platform will also feature a range of wound care services, including wound assessment, dressing changes, and advanced treatments using modern wound dressing agents. These services will be delivered in partnership with local healthcare providers, ensuring continuity of care and personalized treatment plans for each patient. Furthermore, Tissue Health Hub will operate a pharmaceutical outfit offering a wide range of wound care products, medications, and point of care testing (POCT) such as blood pressure monitoring and Blood glucose testing.

Our start-up is aimed at solving an health care challenge focused on wounds. 1. Increase morbidity associated with wounds 2. Poor accessibility to quality wound care services in the communites 3. Sub-optmal wound care services identfied in several health facilites

The core benefits of Tissue health services are; 1. Quality and best practices in wound care 2. Accessibility of wound care services with little to no waiting time. 3. Relatively cheaper and more affordable to the consumers 4. Home care delivery of quality wound care services.

05.08 Justification

The mission of the team is to create awareness of modern trends in wound care as well as offering and make accessible the same services to all levels of consumers at different economic strata. The hub will incorporate the use of Digital Health (Mobile health technology, Telehealth) for consultation, tracking and easy marketing of modern wound care products.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Hospitals both government and privately owned are the major competitors. However, the modern approach, accessibility and affordability of the quality wound care services will make us stand out.

Yes A core member of our team is a female and there is no discrimination to have more females as we scale up.
