Fortified is a deodorant. Unlike an antiperspirant, Fortified is a natural deodorant that's made to suit all skin types especially sensitive ones, and it comes in a variety of scents, sizes, and texture for individual convenience.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Our project is a natural based deodorant that's made by using materials that combats body odor using ots antimicrobial property and are not harmful to the body. We are incorporating the use of carrier oils such as rose hip, almonds oils, and jojoba oils, those mostly preferred by vegans, and avoiding materials such as baking soda that has been an ingredients people mostly complain about because of its irritation. Materials for our products are sourced from Africa, and we've carefully researched, and selected essential oils produced in Africa, and possess no threat of irritation to the skin. Our aim is promote Africa's beauty, and personal care culture.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
1. Problem of irritations for customers who complains about antiperspirant, and prefers to use a perfume 2. Problem of inconvenience: Customers are not comfortable using a product that possesses harm to their skin, or health, and so we are working on a product that would possess no harm nor threat to their skin. Problem of sweating: Customers are always particular about using products that doesn't make them sweat much. Personal care practice in Africa: In align with our mission on encouraging African's both young and old prioritize self care, we would be engaging young Africans in personal, and self care practices that would better their activities within the society.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
1. Our ingredients used are skin friendly, and posses no threat on it 2. It heals skin bumps that are mistakenly made by razor cut during shave 3. One model we are trying to develop is that, apart from using a deodorant which is also a part of a self care routine, we also give our customers the opportunity to connect with other person's through phone calls.
01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
Our products are targeted to the young populations in Africa aged 15 -40yrs who don't have enough money to get basic safe, and reliable personal care products. They are aware, and conscious of the health benefits, and would avoid anything that possess any threat to their health. They are mostly undergraduate student, teachers, and private workers. They also are appreciative of brands that offers classy, quality products at a reduced cost irrespective of the quantity. They are also mostly Internet users. They are also individuals that would always want to draw attentions, and complements, hence, they are very careful the products the use. They also avoid using popular products so as to avoid people guessing correctly the right kind of scents they are using.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?
Both local, and foreign manufacturers of body powders, oil perfumes, whole body deodorant, antiperspirant, and natural deodorant. What stands us out is the story our brand is built on with our designs which is about promoting Africans creativity, body care, and richness which is against their normal perception on the continent. We also stand out in our organizations process which has to do with relating with customers in a way that helps us save cost on acquiring new customers, and marketing process.

Yes, supporting some female owned business by recommendation, and partnering with them for any Social community project they handle.
