Describe your project or startup in a few words

Hello, My project as to do with fabric/leather bag making and shoes( which includes male and female footwear's be it palms and sandals) for now. But, might consider going into shoes(heels and men's shoes) later in the future.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Hello, My project is all about creating a craft business that as to do with fabric/leather bag and shoe making. I'm confident in this type of craft because I learnt about it. I learnt how to make bags and footwear, I first learn bag making when I was about to finish my HND program. I later learn footwear making in my hometown. I have to work for some months to get money to get some equipment needed in the line of work. I later get a domestic sewing machine and start up the bag making business. It was going fine. Not until I notice my domestic machine can't really sew the type of bags I makes. So I stopped for some months. I work for some time and later relocate to another part of the country. But because of the passion and love I have for the craft I relearn footwear making in the city I'm currently staying. I finished up with my learning and starts making footwear for people but it was from the comfort of my home. Though I'm planning to get a space and set up fully very soon.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

I am trying to let people know more about fabric and leather bag making, though shoe making is now very rampant among females in Nigeria. I also look forward to growing into a large company later in the future. Also I'm trying to make fabric and leather bag making be more open and avoidable to the young talents in Nigeria. I want to give out the opportunity I did not have to them. There a lot of talent out there that want to learn and explore crafts but couldn't due to financial capacity.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

The advantages of my product is that the quality and durability will be top notch. It will be strong and last. The choice of colour and quality will be to customers taste and satisfaction. I will ensure the products are made with good and quality fabrics and leather. My products will also promote African culture, with the aim of including our locally made fabrics into production of beautiful and quality products.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

My target customer are the general public, they are the consumers. They includes The old and young The breast feeding mothers The mothers The students (ladies) The working class men and women Lovers of our locally made fabrics An average man and the influential ones And also the privileges.

My project as to do with improving on the current similar products being use. To put in more craft and skills to make it unique and also to put in use of our locally made fabrics to make it unique.
