Plastic recycling has a simple slogan "turning trash to cash. Recycling is a business that has a very long life span and since there is crude oil production there is also need for Recycling. This project will help in reduction of pollution on sea and land

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Plastic Recycling. The project is lasting business which has been in existence for over for so many decades. The truth is that much people are not aware of the benefits of recycling especially plastic. An average of 15bilion tons of plastic are produced within a year and only 3 billion is recycled. Plastic recycling has a process and things gotten from it are much such as, fibre , PET flakes, chips, non woven material, pallets, and bottle to bottle grade flakes etc. Considering the nature of the business which I have been in the industry for over 9 years, I know that there ias a Great need for more plastic recycling project which will help both sea pollution and land pollution. Recycling as business is a great project. As so me recycling invest over 40 billion naira and recover it with 3 years of production. The average turnover of a mini recycling company is over 3 billion per annum. This project is globally accepted and the demand is widely accepted and the product is widely used

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Plastic recycling Problem solving: it takes about 400 years for a single plastic to decompose which means in our existence some plastic have been before us. We also know the harm it causes in the sea both for Aquatic animals and also for smooth sailing of the vessels reducing oxygen for both the Aquatic animals and making the sea difficulty to sail etc. Land plastic pollution is also considered where by our gutter are been blocked by these plastic make the flood to cause harm to the society. In 2022 it has caused different pollution problem in cities like Lagos port Harcourt and kogi respectively with Months. This project will play it's part in the reduction of plastics in different ways by working in hand also with total, government and any agencies involved. It's an international project and it is also a skill that needs to be transferred to our next generation. During the cause of our practice I discovered that it creates a high level of employment and sustainable economy.

Benefits 1, it helps in reducing sea and land pollution thereby helping the Aquatic animals and sea level, 2, it helps in reducing drainage blockage and also over a renewable energy conversion. 3, it is eco-friendly and causes no harm to the body. Making it lucrative and attractive

05.08 Justification

Alot of companies just buy the already sorted materials with from people. Our project is to go the local areas and sea banks and get these material and help the environment. Most people don't do this.

This project is a sale on it own. And no matter the quantity you produce it is saleable both locally and internationally.

Yes. I have worked with a female NGO owner and also have invited female Experts for career talks with my community
