Boltin is an application designed for individuals who want to secure their properties and community on a budget. Boltin helps you locate missing items, allows you to submit eyewitness reports, and provides access to emergency contact numbers.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

The crime rate of Nigeria according to National Bureau of statistics as at the first half of the year is at 66.2% which is considered high, and with this, the police to civilian ratio stands at 1:650. This clearly makes it difficult for our Ill equiped to curb crime. Hence the introduction of the Boltin app, with the app you can secure a digital ownership for your properties, it enables you verify the authenticity of a product before buying, more importantly it allows an individual make anonymous security reporting and whistle blowing.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

We are solving the problem of: 1. Theft of properties 2. Inability to recover stolen goods 3. Insecurity

1. Ability to digitize the ownership of any property and have it in the cloud 2. Ability to declare it stolen or missing for easy recovery 3. Ability to digitally transfer ownership 4. Ability to report any security related matter anonymously 5. Ability for anonymous whistle blowing 6. Access to emergency numbers at 5km radius to you.

Boltin aims to serve the general public especially middle and lower class Nigerians. It also targets business people who sell tangible products such as TV's and so on.

Oguche Maureen is a seasoned front end engineer with over 5years experience. Miracle Iyiagwu is a talented backend developer with 4years experience working on various ground breaking projects. Owoichooche Ogboche Is a an architect with vast experience in UiUx design

Due to inadequate intelligence in the Northern Nigeria, security officials have not been able to promptly track down insurgents. This in return makes it difficult for people who are already in multidimensional poverty to carry out business that can help lift them out of the situation especially farmers.

Due to inadequate security, schools are on lockdown especially in northern Nigeria where banditry is more prevalent. But with Boltin it will be easier to tackle the manace through communal policing

05.08 Justification

We currently have Truecaller, i-report but they do not specifically address the issue of policing via communal security.

I-report Truecaller Mfind. We stand out because We offer offline report services

Yes. I am currently a volunteer program coordinator for a yearly teens boot camp that takes place in my city.
