To foster improved health of individuals through organically grown foods, improve farming activities and also enable neat and sustainable environments, waste will be converted to organic fertilizers.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Presence of chemicals in most food crops generally consumed is posing a threat to the health of individuals. Littering of waste everywhere also in the communities also makes communities inconvenient and uncomfortable to live in. Increasing price of chemical fertilizer is also a factor that discourages farmers from their activities. This project hereby converts waste into organic fertilizer needed for farming activities to increase supply of organic foods.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem I’m trying to solve is to improve the health of individuals through their consumption. Consumption of organic fertilizers food go a long way to ensure food safety of the good we consume. This project is also aimed at reducing waste in the environment.

Organic fertilizer improves soil structure and health. It reduces chemical pollution into the foods we consume

Burning of trees, paper, bushes, unused wood, etc leads to the release of hazardous chemicals into the air. These chemicals such as carbon monoxide, particulate , methane are significant sources of climate pollutants and contribute to global warming. This startup ensures that the unused woods, paper, leaves are turned to organic fertilizers instead of burning.

05.08 Justification

Chemical fertilizer are widely used by farmers because of easy access to get them. Chemical fertilizer however pose a threat to safety of the crops to humans. It’s increase in price has however made it more difficult for farmers to effectively manage their crops which leads to a general increase in prices of raw foods in the market and also food insecurity at a national level. Organic fertilizers solve the major challenges by making it affordable to purchase, saftey of crops grown for humans and reduced food security in the nation.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

My main potential competitors are producers, distributors of chemical fertilizers. Easy access to raw materials and lesser price makes me stand out from my main competitors.
