01.01 Describe your project in more detail

SaferWard Lab is a cybersecurity solution currently in development. Our goal is to leverage technology to empower individuals and businesses with the tools and information necessary to stay secure in the digital space. Our Solution will connect cybersecurity professionals and organizations as content creators, providing up-to-date security awareness videos for individuals and businesses. Additionally, users will have the option to request affordable professional services at their convenience. The app will also offer instant and scheduled consultation services, addressing the critical need for guidance during cyber incidents. Our long-term vision is to make professional cybersecurity services affordable for individuals and SMEs. We will empower unemployed cybersecurity professionals, training them within our organization to deliver cost-effective solutions. This initiative aims to enhance and secure our digital landscape, ensuring a safer online environment for all.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Cyber insecurity is a significant and rapidly evolving challenge. Despite extensive efforts to protect their businesses and data, organizations and individuals remain vulnerable. A report by the World Economic Forum indicates that current cybersecurity measures are increasingly rendered obsolete by the growing sophistication of cyber criminals. This underscores the necessity for continuous, up-to-date cybersecurity strategies for both individuals and businesses. Moreover, the high cost of existing cybersecurity solutions presents a substantial barrier, forcing many individuals and small businesses to compromise the security of their online activities. This disparity highlights the urgent need for affordable and effective cybersecurity measures accessible to all.

Small Businesses: Offering affordable cybersecurity solutions and professional services that may otherwise be out of reach, ensuring their operations remain secure. 3. Larger Organizations: Assisting them in maintaining up-to-date security awareness among employees and offering additional professional consultation services as needed to stay compliant and secure. 1. Kote Justice: Justice is a seasoned developer and product designer with a strong passion for building scalable and user-friendly applications. He is currently contributing his expertise as a developer at Harvoxx Tech Hub. 2. Chimdinma Obasi: Chimdinma is an innovative and creative thinker specializing in the application of Information Technology to business processes. She is a proficient data scientist, a role she fulfills in our project. Currently, she serves as the Head of Training, Webmaster, and Social Media Manager at Ace International Training Center. 3. Mutiat Abdulquadri: Mutiat is a dedicated user interface/user experience designer and a public health educator. She is presently the Community Manager at KHc Trades and Technologies. 4. Blessing Nwofor: Blessing is an experienced banker and cybersecurity enthusiast. She is currently employed at Unity Bank as an E-Business and Collections Support Officer

Existing cybersecurity solutions often focus solely on either awareness or services, but SaferWard Lab integrates both aspects, providing a more holistic approach to cybersecurity. 05.06 Justification: There is a growing need for accessible and affordable cybersecurity solutions, especially for small businesses and individuals who may lack the resources to invest in expensive cybersecurity measures. SaferWard Lab addresses this demand by offering a unique combination of educational content and professional services at an affordable price point, filling a gap in the market for comprehensive yet accessible cybersecurity solutions.

Our main potential competitors include traditional cybersecurity firms and educational platforms offering cybersecurity courses. However, we will be treating them as partners instead of competitors. What sets us apart is our unique combination of comprehensive cybersecurity education, affordable professional services, and user-friendly accessibility through a mobile app. Unlike traditional firms, we prioritize affordability and inclusivity, making high-quality cybersecurity accessible to small businesses and individuals. Additionally, our platform fosters community engagement, connecting users with a network of cybersecurity professionals for ongoing support and guidance. 10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

I am deeply committed to promoting female entrepreneurship, reflected in my intentional efforts to involve more women in this project. Recognizing the value of diversity, I have actively sought out and engaged female professionals to collaborate on SaferWard Lab. Moreover, I have provided support to my younger sister in establishing her boutique business, demonstrating my belief in her entrepreneurial capabilities. By prioritizing gender inclusivity in both partnerships and support initiatives, I aim to foster an environment that empowers women to thrive in entrepreneurship and cybersecurity.
