02.01.02 No poverty - Justification
We are here to help empower people with skills that can help liberate them from poverty, considering poverty to mean the inability to provide basic necessities needed for a minimum standard of living. This inability to provide stems from a standpoint of lack of skills/services that can be exchanged for value(money). We are here to help people gain skills that make them able to offer services that can be exchanged for value.

There seem to be an observable gender gap when it comes to having women in the work force and industry. While this may stem from a cultural and societal disorientation, it must also be accepted that most females lack the basic skills that places them competitive standpoint with their male counterparts. To bridge this gap, we are embarking on a skill acquisition and empowerment project for women in order to better equip them to stand a chance at participation in decent labour.

Fashion business has continued to evolve through times and age and shall yet evolve. We are here to improve processes and bring in methodologies that improve work in the sector. For example, we save time and increase efficiency by integrating technology into the business of fashion - we deeply appreciate the process the fashion industry has been through and is here to be a bridge between what has been and what would be. We are here to leverage on known and existing skills, knowledge, practices and methodologies and at the same time fuse into it innovation which improves efficiency, effectiveness and productivity. So, instead of sitting back all day to draw patterns, you can give text descriptions and AI does that for you; instead of long extended periods of trainings, we are offering tailored trainings specific to an individuals need either as a beginner, intermediate or advanced learner. We want to improve on what has been.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?
My competitor are others who are already in the fashion business and those who will yet join. Our point of difference is that we are offering value: we are offering the best possible experience to clients. we practically do not have to "convince" clients to choose us; the value we create does the convincing. That experience is what we sell in the midst of other businesses.
10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
As a venture conscious of contributing to the sustainable development goals of gender equality and decent work & economic growth, Debbie's Glam shall leverage on collaboration with other existing and upcoming entrepreneurs to strengthen its voice.
