Describe your project or startup in a few words

It's a Textile and Fashion Project that aims into venturing into interior products aswell, it's a Project that allows us as a brand to be flexible and venture or introduce new products range under interior aswell, we develop our print (African prints)

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Been born in a Sotho Region In South Africa (Freestate) made me realize how important culture and heritage is in our community with this project is a form of honoring and appreciation to my culture and African heritage as a while, we will develop and create our own African prints inspired by the Basotho Culture and heritage to create our fashion product range with new interior range we wish to introduce out this prints products such as pillows cases, table runners and Ottoman chairs. It's a project that I believe will include and create employment for other Creatives and many business will benefit from this innovation. What will make our project unique is the prints/patterns we have developed and how we will use those prints so that our products interlink to each and make something special and unique. It's time the Basotho Conceand stories come to life and not only looked as culture that starve, we taking our culture into a luxurious feeling and touch.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

We live in country where by unemployment rate is sitting at 32.9% and the majority is Youth, our main problem is job creation for our fellow creatives, 2nd problem we solving is Taking African culture and heritage into a luxurious feeling and touch and make it an aeveryday wear rather than waiting for African Day or heritage day to wear our clothes, we support and encourage sustainability as a brand.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

We Africans I believe it's time we take our culture and heritage seriously, for instance there are so many Sotho Speaking individuals who doesn't know who they are or the lineage within the Basotho Culture so this item is a reminder of who we are and where we come from and where we going as a nation, we need to go back to our roots and find gold with who we are. It's project that will help someone to finally say I'm a proud Sotho and here is my story. It's colorful for decoration which will make one home welcoming and vibrant, it has a feeling of luxury which can turn one home feel and look like a presidential house.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

Sotho speaking individuals in our country and outside our country, people with disposable income and people that love Culture and heritage doesn't matter if you black or white as long as you support and encourage Culture and heritage this project is for you.

Two women are well experienced Fashion Designers, 1 women she's an interior designer and 1 guy he's a furniture designer then the last guy he's a Fashion designer and Textile Designer. All of them they well experienced they mid career practitioners and they do pay attention to detail.

It has included 5 creatives which 3 of them they have their own teams, which means up to 10 individuals will benefit from all this project which to me is a massive impact to no poverty goal, we want a sustainable fashion brand which we believe the project won't stop because we believe this is something people want and what people have been waiting for, if the project is articulated in a correct and proffessional manner then it will repeat it self based the sales and financial support it will create.

It's a zero hunger project not only in food but also in creative hunger, alot of creatives in South Africa are hungry to change and create but they don't get that chance to enable and show what they good at.

Our prints free water and not harmful, we don't use water for production, our paints are not water based and even if we wash clothes our paint doesn't come out which will results into damaging the environment or children playing around.

What makes me stand out is the ability to developments our my own Textile prints that unique from other limited to use,only us we can have access into using them.
