My project aims to create a secure Facebook Marketplace integration that processes payments for listed products through our company, enhancing safety and reducing scams. Users can list and purchase items directly on Facebook Marketplace, but payment transactions are handled by our platform. This ensures that funds are securely held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt of the item.

The primary problem we aim to solve is the prevalence of scams and fraudulent activities in online marketplaces, particularly on Facebook Marketplace. Buyers and sellers often face the risk of non-delivery of goods, counterfeit products, and payment fraud. These issues undermine user trust and deter potential transactions. By integrating a payment processing tool managed by our company, we aim to create a safer and more secure marketplace environment. Our solution involves handling all payments through a secure, centralized system, utilizing escrow services to ensure that funds are only released when both parties confirm satisfaction with the transaction. Siphesihle Tsie the sole owner of the project- a recent humanities graduate with research, analytical, and communication skills and through this I bring insights into human behavior and project management abilities.I also have experience as a cashier and in phone repair shops, skilled in customer service, technical troubleshooting, financial management, and sales.I also offer expertise in handling transactions, inventory management, and customer satisfaction strategies.
