Our project RE-RUN is a pollution reduction project , which seems to reduce the levels of pollution in communities by using recyclable plastic waste with fashion as a way to tackle pollution and unemployment in communities.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Project RE-RUN:Revolutionizing waste management through sustainable production Objective:to design and develop an innovative,sustainable and community driven project that transforms recyclable waste into comfortable shoes . With pollution on the high, the DFFE reported that according to state of waste south africa generates around 107.7 million tonnes of waste annually which 65% of it is generall waste .this aim to tackle the issue by creating a circular economy model that converts plastic waste products into comfortable shoes . We seek to establish a network system which enables the collection of plastic waste products from households ,businesses and Public spaces .we seek to collaborate with local designers and engineers for our product to be much more sustainable. We seek collaborate with environmental organizations to educate the community about benefits of recycling and the creation of sustainable products.

The main problem we aim to solve is the high level of plastic pollution , unemployment,Health and Environmental unawareness.

The reduction of plastic waste both on land and ocean ,the advantage of playing a helping hand in environmental conservation. The product is self sustainable,a customer is able to send back to the producer for recycling instead of throwing it away into general waste the customer will get a sale .

05.08 Justification

My project idea is unique reason being is ,we are looking on saving the planet with that we worried about the levels of pollution in our community and later find it is a big problem in whole world. we than came up with an idea that will simultaneously educate people from the community without them realizing that they are being educated,how?we tend make a recyclable product out of recycle waste material such as plastic waste ,the community will be able to return the product after usage so that we can continue playing a part in reduction of waste pollution.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Our main competitors are shoe making brands but our is made from waste and gets recycled in our factorie so it can be re- made and re-sold.we also offer education with organisation's about sustainability,we seek to develop locally and hire locally.

10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

Yes ,my girlfriend is one of the examples as she is an Enterprenuer,I also encourage and look for opportunities both young and old .
