Describe your project or startup in a few words
We a company that looks to make a change in the way people think and approach business Panda came up with a solution for taxi ranks.Panda smart ranks are a multi-touchpoint experience that looks to bring commuters into our sponsoring brands world.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
As the youth our role is to uncover what lies in the pockets of society so that opportunities that are found there can be given new life and identity. In 2018 I managed to secure media rights to 3 taxi ranks in South Africa. I viewed these spaces as a spaces that havent been addressed, intention still had to be crafted into the DNA of the space. We could sell ad space, but we are of the notion that the world belongs to those that are willing to push civilization forward. The most important aspect of this space isnt the potential of reach or ad space but creating an experience that informs future thoughts. As problem solvers we see everything as a blank canvas, its our duty to beautify and make sure that form follows function. Panda smart ranks are a multi-touchpoint experience that connects commuters and ensures that they stay connected to the world through an ecosystem touchpoint experience through solar energy.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Giving commuters access to technology while addressing the ills of marketing and advertising industry that created clutter at taxi ranks. Our solution is brand focused and seeks to integrate sponsoring brands into the lives of commuters by creating a experience.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
Ranks are in the business of connecting people, maybe its time they ensured that people stay connected at all times. This can only happen with the aid of solar charging benches, wifi hotspots, a relevant branded touchpoint experience that can be lived while it makes an impact in society and also helps brands collect data for crm. Brands that win are those that put the consumer first. This also helps sponsoring brands to be positioned as socially responsible while we do our bit of maintaining the spaces.
