Moto Poa aims to solve the severe deforestation crisis in Tanzania, where approximately 150,433 hectares of forest are lost annually, largely due to charcoal production. This deforestation accelerates climate change, threatens biodiversity, and undermines local livelihoods. Additionally, the widespread use of traditional charcoal for cooking results in significant indoor air pollution, posing serious health risks, especially to women and children. With the Tanzanian government's mandate to cease charcoal use for cooking in groups of 100 or more by January 2024, there is an urgent need for sustainable, eco-friendly cooking alternatives. Moto Poa addresses these issues by providing an innovative solution that reduces deforestation, improves air quality, and supports local economies.

Additionally, I lead advocacy and awareness campaigns to highlight the importance of female entrepreneurship and address challenges women face, and I am working on creating a local fund to provide financial support to women starting or expanding their businesses.
