Our project is about waste paper recycling. We collect waste papers from schools and offices then turn into eco friendly products like notebooks, exercise books and paper pens. The aim is to reduce deforestation and paper burning

Our start up is about Waste paper recycling. We collect waste papers from schools and offices then turn into eco friendly sustainable stationery products like exercise books, notebooks and plantable paper pens. Schools and offices do exchange with us by giving us waste papers then we give them products. Also our plantable paper pens have the benefit of having seeds where by when they finish using it, they can plant and it grows flowers and vegetables.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

We are solving the problem of deforestation. Many trees are being cut in the process of paper production to get exercise books and notebooks. Second, we are solving air and environmental pollutions in the process of burning waste papers. Many schools and offices do burn waste papers. So we are providing a solution by recycling waste papers.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

The benefits of using our recycled notebooks / exercise books are you are automatically participating in the combating of climate change. So by using eco products you are helping our planet and save trees from being cut. Also we have paper pens. These are plantable pens which people can use so to reduce the use of plastics pens. The benefits are when someone finishes using the pen, can plant it to get flowers or vegetables.

We aim at serving students in schools and also people from the offices by providing sustainable stationery materials like exercise books/ notebooks and plantable paper pens.

06.08 Justification for my startup

My product is unique because our pens are plantable. One can plant it after use. Also the exercise books/ notebook are from the waste we get from them. We practice Circular Economy

Main competitor are Msomi exercise books and pens like Obama and Nataraj but my products make me stand because our paper pens can be plantable after use and also eco friendly. Our exercise books are from waste which we pick from them (schools and offices). Unique part is the Circularity
