Describe your project or startup in a few words
tellAdvert is the social-commerce mobile App that use artificial intelligence to give customers a purchase and negotiation power to buy products from vendor at discount of average of 25% for each product they purchase on the App.
01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
1.Group purchase: The App use artificial intelligence to identify people with similar buying interests ask them to form group purchase so as to buy together in large quantity and get discount from vendor who are giving discounts on bulk purchase. We are listing vendors on the app who are giving discounts when customer buy large quantity of the product. A vendor states minimum quantity of the products that a customer should buy to get discount. By utilizing artificial intelligence; that is clustering algorithm, personalized search and semantic queuing the App is capable of identifying customers who are looking for buying a similar product and ask them to form a joint purchase so as to buy together in bulk quantity and enjoy the discount from vendors who are giving the discounts on bulk purchase. 2.Buy on Installment: This feature allows customers to pay for products gradually (little by little) through installments—whether daily, weekly, or monthly—until the total amount is paid off.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
This app is targeting several problems faced by both customers and vendors: For Customers: 1. High product prices: By facilitating group purchases and community discounts, the app helps customers access lower prices on desired products. 2. Financial constrain: The installment purchase feature allows customers to manage their finances better by spreading out payments over time. For Vendors: 1. Slow product movement: Group purchases and community buying options can help vendors sell products faster by connecting them with larger customer groups. 2. Lack of Social Engagement: The group purchase feature fosters social engagement and collaborative shopping experiences, addressing the isolation often associated with online shopping. Overall, the app aims to create a win-win situation for both customers and vendors. Customers gain access to better deals and flexible payment options, while vendors benefit from increased sales and wider customer reach.

06.08 Justification for my startup
For the first time in Tanzania, we have social commerce that leverages the power of artificial intelligence to make a purchase easier and affordable while increasing vendor sales. This has challenged conventional e-commerce platforms that exist on the market that sell products to users at normal price with those available in super markets and shopping centers.
06.09 Competitive Analysis
Our main competitors are other existing e-commerce platforms in the markets, our unique value proposition is that tellAdbvert is a social commerce platform that leverages the power of artificial intelligence to group people together who are looking to buy similar products and getting huge discounts for buying bulk quantity of products, currently, this feature is not available in any e-commerce platform in Tanzania.
