01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
The aim of my startup is to change how we shop and create a large digital marketplace app where all businesses can connect and just become a part of the same multi-store. This application would enable users to browse through a wide range of goods and services from varied merchants and make purchases directly from their mobile phones. Delivery to the user's location or in-store pickup both will be possible on the platform, providing flexibility, time management and ease of shopping.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The digital marketplace app addresses the core issues of limited market access for businesses, fragmented shopping experiences for consumers, inflexible fulfillment options, and difficulty in product discovery. By creating a centralized, interconnected platform, the app aims to provide businesses with expanded reach, consumers with a seamless and flexible shopping experience, and facilitate easier product discovery - ultimately transforming the retail landscape to benefit both parties.

1. Convenience and Flexibility. Our digital marketplace app offers a unified platform for customers to browse and purchase from various merchants, with flexible fulfillment options such as delivery or in-store pickup. 2. Increased Accessibility. By providing a centralized platform, our app increases market access for smaller and local businesses, allowing them to reach a wider customer base and compete with larger players. 3. Improved Product Discovery: Our app facilitates easier product discovery and comparison, enabling customers to find the products and services that best suit their needs and preferences.

As the founder of this startup, I am fortunate to have two other highly skilled co-founders - Veronica and Husna. While Veronica may be the "least" of the three of us, both she and Husna finalist actuaries who bring invaluable expertise to the team. Their strong actuarial backgrounds and capabilities complement my own skills and experience, allowing us to build a well-rounded and capable founding group. Together, we are leveraging our collective strengths to develop and grow this exciting new venture.
