WE ARE INVOLVED IN BABY NUTRITION. We aim to improve the health of every child by producing and distributing nutritious meals in schools, but we also provide expert advice on nutrition for children in boarding schools.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

According to the Tanzania Food and Nutrition Institute (tfnc), a child's physical and mental growth depends on the type of food he eats, especially in the first 1000 days of his growth. Along with that, a cardiologist from the Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute (JKCI) Professor Janabi; many non-infectious diseases, especially heart diseases, the main source of which is unhealthy eating. Alpha Delicious Food Products aims to provide education to all people about the correct consumption of healthy foods for body and mind, especially students and parents of young children from the age of 1 day as they are the nation of tomorrow. In order to achieve our goal, the company also aims to produce foods that take into account all the child's nutrition and these foods will be sold at a very affordable price to reach the target audience.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

We aim to eliminate the serious problem of malnutrition that leads to physical and mental retardation in children. We also aim to reduce the rate of increase in non-communicable diseases which are mostly caused by poor diet.

Observance of nutrition for children has many benefits and some of them include > Physical and mental health for the child. > To have a nation with people with great ability to think and work. > To reduce the increase of non-communicable diseases.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The main beneficiaries of this project are young children from the age of 1 day and the group of students as it is easily accessible when they are in school. Adults can also benefit from this project through social media, although they are not the main target.

My main competitors include manufacturers of chemical drinks, manufacturers of drugs that do not comply with the correct standards of drug production. Our competition is coming where they will need to increase their income through their products that cause harm to humans and I will be at the forefront to educate people about the effects of excessive use of these products.
