EcoFruit Creations is to transform specifically cashew fruit into a delicious and marketable jam. Cashew fruit, known for their high vitamin C content and unique tropical flavor, often go to waste despite their nutritional value. By converting these fruits into jam, the project seems to reduce food waste, provide a new income stream for cashew farmers and introduce a unique product to the market.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The main problem is the cashew fruit waste which is left to rot causing negative environment impact so the project aims to produce a marketable jam, reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

The project seems to offer a healthy, nutritious food product that enhances food diversity and contributes to the dietary needs of consumers. It also helps generate different stream of income for local farmers and small-scale producers by creating new market opportunities and encouraging local entrepreneurship. It will also produce a marketable jam, reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

Sajjad Braimah Mubarak is a person who loves agriculture and dreams of a green world. He has a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Engineering and has 3 years experience in engineering, crop farming and tutoring. Appiah-Kubi Kelvin is a recent renewable energy engineering graduate, with a passion for technology and its advancement. He has experience installing and maintaining renewable energy technologies, like biogas and solar systems, as well as crop farming. He is motivated by how renewable energy can change the world, and is working to be a part of this change. David Tekpo has a bachelors degree in Renewable Energy Engineering with in-depth knowledge, skills set and 2 years experience in his field. He envisions a world with clean and affordable energy and sustainable practices with zero "waste agenda".
