Describe your project or startup in a few words
Our mission is to provide high-quality, refreshing water while minimizing plastic waste through the use of aluminum cans.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Our project aims to introduce aluminum canned water in Ghana to replace plastic bottles, promoting environmental sustainability, social impact, and economic development. Since plastics are affordable, durable, and flexible, plastic pervades modern life, appearing in everything from packaging to clothes to beauty products, which now dominates the water business both sachet and bottle brands . But it is thrown away on a massive scale: every year, more than 280 million tonnes of short-lived plastic products become waste.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Supply hygienic and quality drinking water as we fight in reducing Plastic Waste cause by plastic bottles
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
Choosing RO drinking water in aluminum cans over plastic bottles for water packaging offers significant environmental and economic benefits. Aluminum cans are infinitely recyclable with high recycling rates, reducing landfill waste and energy consumption. They protect product quality better and contribute less to pollution compared to plastics. This choice supports sustainability efforts, enhances brand image, and aligns with regulatory trends to reduce single-use plastics. Overall, aluminum cans provide a more sustainable and efficient solution for water packaging.
01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
The primary target market for aluminum canned water includes: 1. Environmentally Conscious Consumers: Individuals prioritizing sustainable and eco-friendly products. 2. Eco-Friendly Businesses: Companies committed to sustainability and corporate social responsibility. 3. Event Planners: Organizers of festivals, concerts, and conferences seeking to minimize plastic waste. 4.Retailers and Supermarkets: Stores offering environmentally friendly product options. 5.
