Describe your project or startup in a few words
A remotely controlled Ultraviolet Type C (UVC) radiation-based sterilization system.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
JACE Technologies Ltd. came up with an innovative system for sterilization that uses ultraviolet type C (UVC) radiation. The groundbreaking solution is set to lower the transmission of deadly germs in all kinds of settings, such as hospitals, schools, offices, and public spaces. The system uses UVC radiation, which has higher energy to get deep into microorganisms, destroying DNA and effectively sanitizing 99.99% of surfaces and the air. It offers remote control capabilities for safe operation and supports automated scheduling. Additionally, it provides real-time data sensing and has an autonomous door, which gives the user a touch-free experience. Our system reduces healthcare-associated infections, which decreases healthcare costs, promoting public health and sustainability. This initiative is designed to assist in tackling vital health issues like pandemics, achieving a healthier quality of life, and positively impacting the quality of life and health worldwide.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The main problem we are solving is the impact of the transmission of deadly germs and healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) in various settings, including hospitals, schools, offices, and public spaces. By addressing this issue, the company aims to reduce the incidence of infections, lower healthcare costs, and promote public health and sustainability. Their innovative UVC sterilization system is designed to effectively sanitize surfaces and the air, thereby contributing to a healthier quality of life and positively impacting global health, especially in the context of vital health issues like pandemics.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
Effective Germ Elimination: The UVC sterilization system uses high-energy ultraviolet type C (UVC) radiation to penetrate deep into microorganisms, destroying their DNA and effectively sanitizing 99.99% of surfaces and the air. This significantly reduces the transmission of deadly germs and healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). Enhanced Safety and Convenience: The system offers remote control capabilities for safe operation and supports automated scheduling. Additionally, it features real-time data sensing and an autonomous door, providing a touch-free experience that minimizes cross-contamination and enhances user convenience. Cost Reduction and Sustainability: By reducing healthcare-associated infections, the system helps decrease healthcare costs. It also supports public health and sustainability by promoting a healthier quality of life and contributing to the global effort to manage and prevent pandemics and other health crises.
01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
Healthcare Facilities: Hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes can significantly benefit from reduced healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), leading to improved patient outcomes and lower healthcare costs. Educational Institutions: Schools, colleges, and universities can maintain a safer and healthier environment for students, staff, and visitors, reducing the spread of infectious diseases. Workplaces: Offices and corporate settings can ensure a germ-free environment, promoting employee health and productivity while minimizing sick days. Public Spaces: Airports, malls, transportation hubs, and other public venues can enhance public safety by reducing the transmission of germs in high-traffic areas. Residential Communities: Homes and residential complexes can utilize the system to create a healthier living environment, particularly for vulnerable populations such as the elderly and immunocompromised individuals.
