plan to develop an innovative food delivery app that bridges the gap between customers and their favorite restaurants and local food joints. Designed to offer quick and easy meal options, the platform will provide a seamless ordering experience, allowing users to browse diverse menus, customize their meals, and have them delivered right to their doorstep.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Problems the App seeks to solve: 1. Limited Access to Diverse Food Options: Many consumers struggle to find a variety of meals that cater to their tastes especially from local food joints and street vendors that are not typically available on mainstream delivery platforms. 2. Inconvenience of Meal Planning:. Busy individuals often lack the time to plan, cook, or visit restaurants for meals. The app provides a convenient solution by delivering meals from a range of restaurants and local food joints directly to their doorstep. 3. Inconsistent Ordering Experience: Existing platforms may offer limited customization options, leaving customers unable to personalize their orders to match their exact preferences. The app will allow for full customization of meals, mimicking the experience of ordering in-person. 4. Underrepresentation of Local Vendors: The platform will give these vendors visibility and access to a larger audience, boosting their sales and growth.

One partner brings business acumen from academic training in business, complemented by hands-on experience as a sales manager in a departmental store. The other offers expertise in network and cyber security, leveraging skills acquired through college education and self-employment. Together, they bring a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience to drive the success of the project.

Our food delivery app uniquely combines a diverse vendor network, including local street food joints, with customizable meal options. we offer real-time order tracking, support local businesses, and allow full meal personalization, mimicking an in-person buying experience.
05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?
Our main competitors are Hubtel, the only existing food delivery app in the country and traditional phone call ordering. While Hubtel is not widely popular among online food ordering customers, it is our direct competitor. We stand out by offering a diverse vendor network, including local street food joints, customizable meal options, real-time order tracking, and support for local businesses. Our app provides a seamless and personalized dining experience, bridging the gap left by Glovo's exit from the market.
10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
Through this project we are initiating an action to promote female entrepreneurship by providing equal opportunities for women to participate in the food delivery industry. We will encourage and support female-owned businesses to join our platform as vendors, providing them with a platform to showcase their culinary talents and reach a wider customer base. Additionally, we will offer training and mentorship programs specifically tailored to women entrepreneurs, empowering them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the competitive market.
