01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Restoring Agriculture Ecology, a youth-led initiative idea, establishing a thriving sustainable farm business prioritizing soil health, income generation, job creation, and climate change combat through regenerative practices. This farm will serves as a training center for students and smallholder farmers, teaching climate-resilient methods. Women will be empowered through soap-making training, utilizing farm produce to generate income and create employment opportunities. This project promotes environmental stewardship, economic growth, social impact, and climate action, empowering communities to adapt to a changing climate.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Establishing a sustainable farm business and training center, my project aim to tackle the problems below: 1. Soil degradation and loss of fertility 2. Limited income and job opportunities for rural communities 3. Lack of climate-resilient agriculture practices 4. Limited economic empowerment for women 5. Environmental degradation and loss of biodiversity

The project aim to serve these beneficiaries: 1. Smallholder farmers: Providing training and capacity building on climate-resilient agriculture practices to improve their yields and income. 2. Rural communities: Creating job opportunities and promoting economic growth in rural areas, reducing poverty and improving livelihoods. 3. Women: Empowering women through soap-making training, providing them with a new skill set and income stream, promoting gender equality and economic empowerment. 4. Students: Offering a training center for students to learn about sustainable agriculture practices, equipping them with knowledge and skills for a sustainable future. 5. The environment: Promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable agriculture practices to mitigate climate change, protect biodiversity, and preserve natural resources.
