Eazy Goo provides affordable and more environmentally friendly transportation alternative for working professional commuters while reducing road traffic and at the same time promoting environmental sustainability through bike ride sharing.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Eazy Goo is an innovative transportation solution that offers affordable bike rentals to commuters in Accra, providing a hassle-free alternative to traditional public transportation. By renting bicycles at lower rates, Eazy Goo aims to reduce traffic congestion, promote sustainability, improve air quality, and promote healthy living. To promote sustainability thinking among the public, Eazy Goo allows commuters to rent out their own bikes to earn a passive living to help improve their families livelihoods. Vibrant youth are employed at every each bus-stop along the road to facilitate pick up and drop off of bikes.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Eazy Goo is an effort that seeks to reduce the CO2 emissions from vehicles into the atmosphere which pose a humungous threat to the climate and to human, plant and aquatic lives. The harmful effects of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere causes climate change(global warming, extreme weather events, ecosystem disruptions), air pollution(human respiratory problems, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and lung cancer), environmental degradation(ocean acidification, harming marine life and ecosystems), premature mortality(significant estimated annual deaths link to air pollution), just to mention a few. Eazy Goo also solves the frustrating evening traffic in the city, which leads to long commute times, constant fatigue, and high transportation costs.

Eazy Goo is aimed at serving commuters in Accra, particularly those who rely on public transportation and are looking for a more affordable, convenient, and sustainable alternative. The target beneficiaries include: Working professionals, Residents of Accra who regularly commute within the city, and Students who need to go into the city, an affordable and sustainable transportation alternative.

She is a Data Scientist, a Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence engineer. She has worked with 4 businesses as business analyst and administrative executive. She has served as the general secretary for the student body leadership in her undergraduate. She has a bachelors degree in computer science.

05.08 Justification

Eazy Goo represents a new type of service. Some can describe it as an extension of the already existing ride hailing services. I still envision Eazy Goo as a uniquely service because there is a particular demand it satisfies that the existing ride hailing services has not. Eazy Goo helps commuters who would have otherwise been stuck in traffic to move smoothly without any obstacle to their preferred destination. The current ride hailing service closest to Eazy Goo in terms of speed is "Okada" (which where a motorbike rider carries the commuter to their preferred destination at a fee) but "okada" fees is even more expensive ride hailing in a car. Eazy Goo stands out with a very competitive fee yet lucrative to the bike owner. The next closest ride hailing service to Eazy Goo in terms of fees will be "Trotro" (mini van ride hailing) but "trotros" causes the most traffic and also stops a lot on the way for pick ups and drop of which contributes to longer commute times.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Car ride hailing services such as Uber, Bolt, Yango. Motor bike ride hailing services locally termed "Okada". Mini bus ride hailing services termed as "Trotro". What makes Eazy Goo standing out among all of these services is our competitive fares and our ability to ahead of road traffic easily.
