With the high temperatures during the day and less means for people to quench their thirst, Blue Waves Ice Cream has come to the lime light with just one hundred frs, it's possible to have a cup of ice cream.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

Blue waves ice cream has the aim to alleviate poverty within the community through job creation and wealth creation. The manager Mr. Itumunde Samuel has been a manager in an ice cream company in Buea where he worked for six years so he has the in and out knowledge of the company. We are located in Kribi to satisfy the community with yummy ice cream. We started on the 24th of December 2023 with a single machine purchased from douala at the cost of 600,000frs. Presently we are operating with three machines having for workers. The CEO who is the manager and three sales persons.This business is lucrative since we are able to make a profit of about 250,000frs profit monthly. With high capital we are able to expand since most competitors lack the expertise to produce the quality needed by the customers. The town of Kribi is still virgin for business so we are here to exploit the town for a greater outputs .

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Our mission as an entrepreneur is to create jobs for young Cameroonians to become independent. Wealth creation is also possible since the sales are high giving the company a positive balance sheet. Out employment is to a zero skill needed, since we make sure we empact out employees with marketing skills and they becomes professionals and gain the business landscape in our region. Skill acquisition given to them on ice cream making is an empowerment to all employees.

Blue waves ice cream is one of those products which are consumed as snacks during a sunny day to moderate the body temperature, also it's high level of glucus used in preparing it gives the body enough energy with the high level of hunger, a 60mm cup gives you the an energy that can sustain the body for up to three hours.

Our ice cream is limited just to people very young ie ages from day one to two years due to the extreme cold temperatures also to older people of the ages 55 years and above due to the sugar which is allergic to them.

Ice cream making is not new Kribi but our mastery of the business keeps us going even in the rainy season. Out expertise and customer relationship has made us a trust worthy by out customers. Out product is outstanding, we have our unique techniques which is recommended by our customers. Most competitors takes ice cream business as a side or seasonal hussle but it's full time business to us.
