01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
At Bimi Consulting Firm, our mission is to promote and revolutionize the Entrepreneurial landscape in Cameroon by fostering innovation, providing comprehensive support to entrepreneurs and promoting sustainable economic growth, thereby reducing poverty and improving livelihoods with a clear vision to create a vibrant ecosystem where entrepreneurship thrives, leading to decent work and economic growth. We focus on a holistic approach to nurture small businesses, startups focusing on innovation, sustainability, technology, leadership and community impact. By providing resources, mentorship, education, and collaborative community, our organisation stands at empowering and creating successful ventures that contributes greatly to Cameroon's economy while tackling issues such as; Poverty, Hunger, and Job Opportunities. Our impact is measured through; Startup Impact Rate, Number of Jobs created, Community Engagement. We intend to stay sustainable through; Continuous Learning, Partnerships.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
We are dedicated to addressing the critical issue of unemployment and underemployment in Cameroon. This pervasive problem affects not only the economic stability of Cameroon but also the livelihoods and well being of its citizens. With the significant portion of the population particularly youth and marginalised groups struggling to find meaningful and stable employment, there's an urgent need for comprehensive and sustainable solutions. Our mission is to create opportunities, empower individuals with essential skills and foster a thriving labor market that supports economic growth and social development.

Our services at Bimi Consulting Firm offers several benefits and advantages such as; 1. Promotion of Entrepreneurship: By fostering innovation and providing comprehensive support to entrepreneurs, our services promote entrepreneurship in Cameroon which can lead to creation of new businesses, job opportunities and economic growth. 2. Reduction of Poverty: By empowering entrepreneurs with innovative skills and resources needed to thrive in business, we enable to achieve financial independence, generate employment opportunities and contribute to poverty reduction. 3. Community Impact: Emphasizing community impact fosters a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and social responsibility. This can lead to stronger and more resilient communities that are better equipped to address local challenges. Generally, we offer a multifaceted approach to promoting entrepreneurship and addressing key socio-economic challenges in Cameroon, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and Collaboration

At Bimi Consulting Firm, we prioritise inclusivity and gender equality. Our services are specifically designed to support aspiring and existing entrepreneurs , including marginalised groups between the ages of 18-35, who are passionate about creating a positive impact through entrepreneurship in Cameroon.

With an in-depth understanding of what drives business in the tech sector, he is seeking opportunities that offer vertical growth in responsibilities and leadership, as well as lateral growth through exposure to advanced technologies and network expansion. Resourceful and adaptable, Mark brings the invaluable experience of running three startups in Sub-Saharan Africa, demonstrating his ability to thrive despite challenges. His dedication and expertise make him a valuable asset for any forward-thinking organisation.

Support Agripreneurs: By engaging with agripreneurs in the transformation and value addition sector, we enhance food production, processing, and distribution. This not only increases the availability of food but also improves its quality and nutritional value, directly contributing to food security. 2. Leverage Diverse Communities: Enhancing transferable soft and business skills among entrepreneurs within the community allows for improved agricultural practices, better food supply chain management, and more efficient food distribution networks, reducing food wastage and ensuring a steady supply of food. 3. Learn from Industry Experts: Entrepreneurs gain valuable insights from industry experts through guest lectures, learning best practices in agriculture, food processing, and distribution. This knowledge helps improve food production efficiency and sustainability.

We contribute to good health and well being through our community collaborative program where entrepreneurs get to work with each other and do not feel depressed working alone. They see that every problem their business is facing is not unique to them hence boasting their self esteem and doesn't leave them depressed. Additionally, we train, empower and encourage the production of agric-transformative products that have health benefit such as; produce from sunflower oil, edible shea butter production which offers numerous health benefits, such as reducing LDL cholesterol levels and thereby lowering the risk of heart disease and stroke, production of unripe plantain flour which is rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. It contains high levels of potassium, magnesium, and vitamin C, which are essential for maintaining healthy blood pressure and reducing the risk of heart disease. To conclude, our community based program and agri-transformation training contributes to quality health.

While these organizations offer valuable short-term workshops and consultations primarily in urban areas, BCF provides immersive six-month vocational training that reaches underserved regions, including widows and physically impaired aspiring entrepreneurs. We feature guest lecturers from over 12 African countries and Silicon Valley, providing firsthand global expertise. Our community-centric approach fosters collaboration and innovation, ensuring entrepreneurs learn from one another and grow together. Post-training, we offer sustained support, including mentorship and market connections, ensuring long-term success. Additionally, our focus on Agric-transformative practices maximizes the value of agricultural produce.
