Wisdom Ventures is a subsidary of PEHDEVA with Ref No.00000289/AdR/JO6/ADR/APPA came into existence as a result of the scarcity of tomatoes during off seasons and the high demand of the tomatoes during the off season.That brought to existence Wisdom Ventu

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

The business is located in Kifem Mbam in the North West Region of Cameroon.It came in to existence as a result of of the scarcity of tomatoes during the off seasons and the high demand of the tomatoes during the same off seasons.After a thorough research,it was discovered that about 95% of home consumers use tomatoes to prepare most of their meals because of it's great importance.Wisdom Ventures will solve the high demand of tomatoes by processing the tomatoes to satisfy the urgent need of tomatoes consumers in the North West Region of Cameroon.We are located in an area that is typically agriculturally inclined, this has been and added advantage and has help boast the business.Baskets of tomatoes are bought from local farmers at cheaper price because of proximity with the farmers.It is then washed,cleaned and processed to reduce risk of infection.It is then grinded,book to obtain a paste.After which it is sprayed under shade to dry to avoid change of color.Process takes 3days.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem it is coming to solve is to meet the scarcity of tomatoes during off seasons and the high demand of the tomatoes during the same season.Equally people are preferring the consumption of natural products in place of the one produced and many additives added into it that can cause cancer.Christmas,New Year and Sahla Laya(Big Sahla)are the three most important festivities in my place.Within this period fresh tomatoes are rarely scarce and this has boosted my business tremendously.Many elderly people who have been discouraged to consume the paste tomatoes have been recommended to the use of the powder tomatoes as a substitute.I have equally helped reduce the high deterioration of tomatoes that are mostly abandoned in the farms during the period of abundance, and it has really help to boast farming of tomatoes in my area

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

Since our product is mainly for consumption,it helps in several ways.Nutritionally our product has reduced the consumption of rotten tomatoes by people.It has equally helped reduce the use of tomatoes which has addictives particularly during the off seasons.It has equally helped keep the nutrients in the tomatoes intact, hence it has helped in improving the health of the consumers.Many elderly people who have been advised to eat certain foods and stop others have seen the powder tomatoes as a powerful ingredient for their food.Equally pregnant women,breast feeding women and children have benefited from it,as it contains minerals and vitamins that are helpful to their growth,good health and good sight.The Powder tomato has helped in improving the health of people from every age group.It has really helped and has equally benefited the farmers.This us because the farmers no longer have to get rid of their tomatoes, and get to un-necessary lost, hence helping in improving in livelihood.

My target customers are the following: Hotels,Event planners, Restaurants, Non-governmental organizations and Government officials

The others in the start up of the powder tomatoes are mainly those who have accepted to process the powder tomatoes with me.Since it is still a young company,I had to have people who will not be too demanding for the start, but are ready to sacrifice their time and energy despite their financial challenges.We are building together and with time when we are producing more and getting more profits from the business,we will then see how to put a suitable scale that will permit every one be on a stable income.

Wisdom Ventures is a subsidary of PEHDEVA One of the organs of PEHDEVA is the Human Right Organ.The human right organ promotes values through peace and justice.It shall organize training and seminars with invited actors and guests from National Commission on Human Right and freedom and other international organizations and other organizations of interest which advocate for peace and justice, promote and protect human right and freedom.It shall equally investigate institution,dialogue, and mediate and report to NCHRF against torture ,illegal detention ,violation of worker right,prisoners and orphan rights and an resolution at the level of the associatoon with legality.

It is a new product.The powder tomatoes is a new product and it is of great value to the populace.People have not seen that before.It is really a new product and has impacted the populace positively.With the scarcity of fresh tomatoes during off seasons, and the inavailabity of the fresh tomatoes and the continual increase in the prices of the fresh tomatoes,we have seen powder tomatoes as a substitute.

06.09 Competitive Analysis

Our main competitors are those packaging the tomatoes in paste,like Roma tomatoes.The difference between us and our potential competitors is that, the use preservatives during thier production process.We on the contrary keep the natural tomatoes during the production process.The natural essential vitamins , nutrients and minerals are maintained.
