Global Institute of Security Management is a Zimbabwean based internationally recognized security risk management educational institution which was formed in 2022 to refine and redefine Security Management Education.
01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
Global Institute of Security Management was established in 2022 in order to enhance Security Management Education as part of the key thrusts in the national economic growth and development. Since inception, the college has been very instrumental in research based activities, training, development and awareness programmes. The college offers a lot of training programmes including the Diploma in Loss Control and Security Investigations, Advanced Diploma in Security and Risk Management, Diploma in Enterprise Risk Management, and many more. It is registered and accredited by the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development. Isaac Zhou, 30, is the visionary and co-founder of the college.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The college was formed to: ✓ enhance risk-based business management and continuity. ✓Bridge the gap between learning and practice ✓Redefine the Security Profession through incorporation of AI and technology as part of loss prevention and Security Management.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).
✓Industry relevant Security Management Education which is being taught by lecturers who are already in the corporate sector. ✓Quality and relevance are our ethos because we consider that profit is an end product of quality assurance and customer acceptance. ✓We are registered, accredited and monitored by the government of Zimbabwe through HEXCO and the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education Innovation, Science and Technology Development. ✓We balance between quality, flexibility and costing.

✓Isaac Zhou is the visionary and co-founder of the Global Corporate Security Board. He is currently 30 years old, with 10 years experience in Security, risk, intelligence, an loss prevention. He worked in both public and private sectors, and currently he's the Group Risk, Audit and Loss Control Manager for AMP Group (an Innscor subsidiary). ✓Otinel Sibangwa is currently the Co-founder and Director of Business Development, Innovation and Public Relations. She has 5 years experience in educational management. ✓Kufakwatida Museredzero has more than 15 years in security risk management. He's currently the Director of Administration, HR and Operations. He's also a Board Member for many organizations in Zimbabwe. ✓Brian Marambo is a renowned security Professional with more than 15 years in security. Currently he's heading the Security department for Probrands.

We are aimed at redefining and refining quality security risk management education. We redefine what has been there already so that it suits the changing world and corporate setup.
