My project is a business project aimed at eradicating wastage of our indigenous available resources.We have so many fruits and vegetables that can be consumed otherwise and have value addition done to them. My project represents value addition to produce

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

As I mentioned ,I aim to bring value addition to our local produce . This includes consumables mainly. 1. dried vegetables this is not just an indigenous way of preserving food but it's a healthy choice . We have the baobab superfruit, in my native country Zimbabwe people do not appreciate it more because of the soury taste but with value addition methods like making juice ,yogurt, flavoured seeds etc we'll be making the product more acceptable and enjoyable by majority through making variety. I also aim to use vegetables like carrots ,avocados etc as skin and hair products. These are healthier options considering the less use of chemicals which might cause cancers and other problems. I believe using value addition to the things we already have in our regions and exploring the various ways we can use our natural resources will make us glow and blossom more. Recycling is another way I intend to grow an eco-friendly system. Using Recycled materials to make furniture ,

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The problem I am trying to solve mainly is wastage of resources. For example we eat avocados and throw the peels away, not even for nursery to grow more trees when we can use them to make oil. We can even make use of the overripe avocados to make oil which can be used for various purposes eg hair ,skin and cooking. The second reason is to increase employment rate through the work opportunities that will come through with the business operating . The third problem being solved is appreciation for our local fruits and vegetables that we think are backward when infact if they're explored there's richness, wealth and health in them .

The products are aimed at serving everyone in every age group. Everyone is a beneficiary young and old . Our bodies need healthy supplements and there's a variety to choose from, juice, snacks etc There's skin and hair care

My startup specializes with using natural raw materials thus improved nutrition on all levels for the body skin and hair. Our snacks especially our popular flavoured baobab seeds are an indigenous healthy snack . Our main aim is to make healthy choices more available and accessible and acceptable. Our incoming projects for carrot oil and dried vegetables have made us venture into farming and tree planting for the avocados which the ecosystem will greatly benefit from.

06.08 Justification for my startup

The product is an extention of a product that has already been there. The fruits and vegetables have always been there we just make them have more options to enjoy in .

My main competitor is nutty titry and what makes us stand out from her is the quality of our products. We both make baobab products but hers are not as flavored and smooth. This has been attested by our customers
